Oh my God, where do I start? Amazing, passionate hosts. From the moment you check in, throughout your stay you’re in the center of their attention. Anything you need, they’re there, willing to assist. This beautiful, new hotel (no, it is not a hostel, despite the name) with spacious, modern, comfortable rooms is located very close to the city center. Breakfasts and coffee are served by the owners, and are just as amazing. We’ll definitely be back!

This is not a hostel, as the name would suggest, it's much more like a hotel. The room was exceptional, with large windows overlooking a nice park.

Casatodosantos, allotjament vacacional a Cuenca

In the Cuenca Historic Centre district of Cuenca, close to Pumapungo Museum, Casatodosantos has free bikes and a washing machine.

I didn't take breakfast there except once and it was very good. The little cottage was comfortable with a large kitchen and a nice mattress. The bathroom was fine. Occasionally had hot water issues but they were very responsive. The location is feet from a lovely river and the walking path went by an ancient Inca village. The owners were very nice and helpful and even picked me up at the airport and took me to a doctor's appointment. Everyone was lovely.

The property was beautifully appointed, immaculate and in a perfect location. Sonia and her staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. If I’m fortunate enough to return to Cuenca I would absolutely stay at Casa Montalvo. Thank you Sonia for a wonderful experience.

Villa Emilia Hostal is located in Cuenca. Free WiFi access is available. The historic centre is 1,5 km away and Pumapungo Museum is less than 1 km from the guest house.

The location is perfect, close enough to the main centre for a lovely walk, yet far enough to be nice and quiet. Staff are beyond helpful, english is spoken too. Big supermarket nearby as well as lots of food options. Place was clean, fresh towels everyday and a nice secure parking. We parked 2 Motorcycles securely locked behind gates. Breakfast was great, really can't speak highly enough of this place. Do I need to mention Hot showers!

This is an amazing place to stay! Incredible value for money with a superb location and great rooms. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Breakfast is huge and delicious. Rooms get cleaned daily. It really feels several steps above what you'd expect given the price. Fully recommended.

Located 1 km from Cuenca's historical centre, Apartamentos Otorongo offers self-catering accommodation with free Wi-Fi.

I loved the room and the views of the river. The garden is lush with plants and trees and you can smell the flowers. I enjoyed reading on the hammock. For me the location was excellent as next door to a vegan restaurant with views of the river and great food! The hotel is family owned and the owners are lovely and very welcoming. It is extremely safe as it is all gated with access only by key fob. It’s also pet friendly for those who want to bring their animal companions. Will definitely be staying at Otorongo Hotel again!
