Beautiful, upscale, pristinely manicured property. Impeccable upkeep of grounds, gardens, common areas, gym and pool. Stunning views of Búzios and the Orla Bardot. Next to a multitude of restaurants and bars, with easy water taxi access to many of the best beaches.
The hotel service is akin to some the most premium 5-star properties around the world, comparable to Four Seasons, Claridges and the like. The staff is polite, quiet, trilingual and eager to please. The ambience is sophisticated, aromatized and exquisite.
The rooms have a beachy feel, with a southern Mediterranean decor, like some of the properties in Capri and the Greek Islands, but yet with great amenities, efficient air conditioning and comfortable bedding.
Lastly, the breakfast deserves a mention of its own. It is included in the stay, but unlike other hotel breakfasts, instead of a pre-cooked buffet, the options are all à la carte, made to order, and include delicacies such as local tapiocas, eggs benedicts, crepes, tartines, croque monsieur or any other request that may come to mind. Not to mention the daily basket of freshly baked croissants, sour doughs and local cakes. The pool side menu is equally impressive with fresh salads, shashimi selection, sushi, sampler sandwiches, tartar and more. The hotel’s restaurant offers a fine dining tasting menu unlike anything else you can find in Búzios.

The city occupies a peninsula, spanning through hills, beaches, coves, tropical vegetation and charming roads. Of course, there are also plenty hotels and resorts on the beach in Búzios. Follow the central Rua das Pedras cobblestone street and find a mix between colonial architecture, bustling life, and beautiful sea views. Hotels, B&B’s and guesthouses in central Búzios are a good option to enjoy the nightlife.

We loved Búzios! It was very picturesque with beautiful views and beaches. Many many restaurants and bars, live music, art, shopping, etc.
The city had well maintained buildings and roads. We ate dinner in a central seafood restaurant called Valencia something, super tasty fish, shrimp, mussels, and squid. We had breakfast in a Doce Mel Buzios (padaria) with good coffee, juice, and warm sandwishes.
We were only sadded by the fact that we only booked 1 night in Búzios!

The weather could be better. Most of the time it's cloudy, which is great for walking around, but frustrating when you want to spend a day at sea or on the beach.

Lovely place, lots of restaurants and exciting for young people. Safe to walk on the streets and didn't see any beggars as in Rio. Our family of 8 loved it so much that we left Pousada Corsario where we had a bad exerience and stayed another 4 days at the Atlantico Buzios, where we enjoyed our stay.
Selling staff at the shops are friendly and laid back, no pressure. Quality shopping as there are some shooping areas that remind us of Leblon !
It was definitely worth the 3.5 hours transfers, we recommend it.

This is a beautiful place, but it seems more suited to residents than to visitors. I couldn't escape the sensation of being an intruder on wealthy people's private beaches. The Orla Bardot is the one exception: it is beautiful and accessible. Pick your beach and stay at a pousada or hotel nearby. Getting around the peninsula is very difficult, whether by car (roads are narrow, windy and mostly cobbled, and parking is difficult) or on foot (the beaches are far apart, access is confusing and there are few footpaths). Still, it was well worth the visit just for the beautiful beaches.

Búzios is a quiet place for everyone, from young people who want to take a little break from Rio chaotic lifestyle still having the possibility to have entertainment. the beaches are extraordinary, and just easy to explore.
It’s the only casita (little house) on the private property besides the home of the family that manages it so there was never any noise and they treated us really well with flexible check-in. The kitchen is big and the bed is comfortable. It’s in walking distance to downtown where all the restaurants and shops and nightlife and Búzios Beach where you get water taxis to other beaches. From Brava Beach, you can take a little hike to a nude beach called Olho de Boi. Cool spot! I would stay here again!
The hotel is located directly on the beach of praia brava. Hotel guests can use the Silk Club in front of the hotel which provides big mattresses and beach umbrellas. One can order food and drinks within the club. The breakfast is served in a room upstairs with a nice view of the beach. Our room had a nice side view to the beach and a little veranda. The cleaning service is great and thorough. The real highlight though is the staff: very friendly and always helpful and in the best of spirits.
spacious room- we stayed in room 13 no view
Great shower
air conditioner work well 👍
Bed is comfortable
The pool is big and cleaned with good temperature.
10 mins walk to playa bravia. let me tell u, it’s hot 🥵 . we drove! car park cost 350R for hour. they will asked you to pay for your whole stay in Buzios , that is not recommended. just pay for the time u r on the beach.
we were able to park in-front of the hotel.
walking distance to the famous street 10 mins
Great hotel, attentive personnel, very rich breakfast with great variety of fruits and other items and abundant for all. The best price quality ratio for Buzios, at least during Xmas when it was half price if booked 2+ nights. Jacuzzi is a plus! Great nature, view from the top floors and very clean, although I believe every day cleaning is excessive, once in 3 days is more environmentally friendly.
We stayed only one night. Our hotels before, which were also nice, had a minimum stay of 2 nights. This hotel is simple and nice. The price is acceptable. The breakfast is good. A highlight was the little swimming pool which was nearly open 24 hours. It is so nice to be there and enjoy a warm night in warm water. Use it, but please dont waste it with alcohol abuse or leaving it dirty.
Prefect in every way. Stylish, modern and clean accommodation with a spectacular view of Buzios. Location excellent but best of all is the staff who all give their best best effort to make you feel welcome and happy throughout your stay.
Make sure you try the restaurant too, one of the best in town.
The management are a credit to this little place, they run it to perfection.
“Absolutely fantastic experience in Búzios! This hotel’s location is a gem, right by the center,
The service is unparalleled – the owner’s care felt like a cherished family member. Impeccable rooms, brand new and sparkling clean. Every detail catered to, making our stay memorable. Don’t miss out this best location in buzios !!.
I can totally recommend HTL Personalizada Búzios. The owner is really friendly and will help you with everything. The rooms are very comfortable and legit. Furthermore you can rent a bike , surfboard and much more services :)
The beach is very close to the hotel
Just enjoy your stay here in Búzios !
The place is very well located, the view is beautiful. The facilities are good, the breakfast was very good. We also used the swimming pool a little, it's small but pretty decent since the hotel was almost empty. The parking lot is practically next to the rooms so it is very convenient.
This Cosy hotel provided us with a great experience in Buzios. The location is great, the staff is extremely friendly and professional. the breakfast, the areas outdoors and the rooms are amazing. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a special stay in Buzios.
Excellent location, view from hotel is breath taking, rooms are big, clean, comfy and balcony spectacular!
Real life was better than pictures!
Beach Joao Fernandinho was perfect and hotel provides team working in the beach with chairs and umbrellas.
Food is amazing in the bar, they're able to tweak your plate however you need.
Praia Brava beach could be one of the best ones in Buzios, and it's a 5 minute walk (return is uphill!)
Staff is super friendly and always happy to help.
We loved the initial warm reception by the staff, the location, the cleanliness, and the good condition of the property and facilities. Also loved the staff letting us know of the connection to the Insólito hotel facilities.
Really relaxing spot right in the middle of one of the more active neighborhoods. Just a five minute walk to the sea for one of the best sunset spots in Buzios.
