Located in the very centre of the country, the modernist and monumental Brasilia was built from scratch in the Central Highlands of Brazil. The masterpiece from urban planner Lucio Costa and architect Oscar Niemeyer was inaugurated in 1960 and built in only 5 years. It has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988.
Brasilia can be described as the realization of Brazilians dreaming of a better tomorrow, with its broad avenues and futuristic buildings. Oscar Niemayer’s public buildings added beauty and grace to this urban utopia. The Palacio do Planalto, the Federal Congress and the Cathedral are some of those jewels.
A car ride is a must in this city designed for a world of car owners. Once you get to understand the specific sectors in which the city is divided, you’ll manage to navigate without a map!
The hotels in Brasilia are mainly concentrated in the specifically designated, geographic centre of the city: the Setor Hoteleiro, divided in north and south by the Monumental Axis.
A second cluster of Brasilia hotels is located in the Nucleo Bandeirante district, near the President Juscelino Kubitschek International Airport. You can also find some hotels near the shores of the Paranoá Lake.

attractions are spread out and being a hot climate area, quite slow to walk to view everything so best to do it early morning or evening. Uber is an option but quite short trips maybe as a return trip to the accomodation. worth visiting for a couple of days as a stop over only

Brasilia is a very nice city, well organized, with nice restaurants and good places to visit. It is the epicenter of the Brazilian politics, so you have very important buildings you may visit. Culturally, the city is also very interesting, with museums, churches and libraries.

Brasilia is a perfect city for the entire family.
Brasilia is a perfect city for the entire family. It easy to do everything you want, including medical exams. No polution. There are many green parks, including a big one near the hotels. The football stadium is locatec near the main hotels. There are many good restaurants all over. Uber is very easy and not expense because the distances are easy to reach.

Brasilia is a unique place, it's well worth a visit if you like architecture and museums and exploring a planned city. It's very easy to drive around and take pictures and the airport is close to downtown and high class hotels, such as the Royal Tulip, which isn't expensive for foreigners. I enjoyed my time there - expect temperatures of 32C (90F) during the day and 18C (68F) during the night no matter when you visit. I found it to be an exceptionally beautiful place in comparison to other Brazilian cities.

We stayed a full 7 days.
We stayed a full 7 days. Unless visiting to visit architecture or a history buff, there's not much to do. Beware the ordinary taxi service and tour guide, they will take advantage and not give you full information (we used 99). Social distancing is NOT observed in public places. If driving, give yourself plenty of time to familiarize yourself with your trip. Information is scarce, Google Maps can be incomplete. Call a business before traveling there. Area waterfall cities could be fine for families with children but not for retired couples. The city park is excellent for walking, bring a hat. Lake area restaurants can be pricey and crowded.

Brasília is so beautiful, I'd love to live here and the most important person in the world to me lives here, I super recommend this city and Vision Hplus hotel, it was fantastic and the breakfast amazing.
I enjoyed a late dinner on the outside terrace. Was only there for a short night, but the room was very comfortable. The front desk was exceptionally helpful, which I appreciated. Although I speak some Portuguese, it was also nice that the staff spoke English. I have actually stayed there twice, both short nights. Will come back next time I am in Brasilia, hopefully to stay longer or bring additional people.
The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable! The breakfast every morning had a large variety of options and last, but not least, the POOL! The pool is a great place to hang out and relax. There is ample seating, but having more lounge chairs would make it even better. The service from everyone at the hotel was top-tier! I'll be back again for another staycation!
Wonderful view of lake and hills above City of Brasilia. Great Host, Ms. Talita. Mini-mall within complex. High security area near presidential palace. 24x7 surveillance reassuring! Cleaning crew OK. Amenities, especially washing machine, helpful.
A very nice, clean apartment with a balcony, small kitchenette and a coffee machine. A very good location. The owner is an excellent host, responsive and always ready to help. The hotel staff are nice and friendly. Highly recommended!
The facilities were good and clean. The hotel is well located next to a shopping Mall. Easy access (exception in carnaval time when it becomes really hard to access it.)
The room was really big. Amazing size!
Lovely hotel, well located with incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Room has a great size and is well equipped and comfortable. Good bathroom with nice amenities. Breakfast, pool and gym are great, too.
The breakfast was delicious as always. The pool was exceptional. Furthermore, its location — the chief reason for me choosing this particular hotel since 2015 — is among the very best in Brasília.
Breakfast was good, but nothing fabulous. The room was awesome. There is a swimming pool at the roof and a gym well equipped. The hotel is near of malls and they have very pleasant staff.
Modern and clean. The staff was amazing - friendly and helpful. Thiago from the reception was the best helping me with check in and tips about Brasilia.
