Fantastic property with beautiful view of the ocean and the city. Everything was clean and felt fairly new. Very comfortable bed and large room. Pool area was great as well with wonderful drinks and service and of course an amazing view. Also had a great view right from our room. Breakfast was great and right below the hotel is an area with several restaurants and live music.

Our 4th floor room had a beautiful, ocean view. In fact, my favorite part of this hotel was the location, right off the beach with instant access to the bus lines right off Rua Paciencia (Patience Street). A short walk takes you to the town plaza for food options, or to Patience Beach, which is well worth it. The room was simple and clean, and what a bargain !
Right opposite Praia da Barra Beach, the 4-star Rede Andrade Barra offers a central location and great sea views of Baía de Todos os Santos, in the Barra district of Salvador.

There's absolute no reason for the lower score of this place. Location is one of the best in town and the price is also extremely competitive. The room was dated and some of the furniture needs renovation, but everything was clean, air conditioning was working fine and the shower had good hot water. Swimming pool and facilities were great and I can only recommend this hotel.

Salvador is fascinating and interesting for all the reasons you probably already know. There is much to do and see.
The only downsides are the high humidity and heat which makes day time explorations a bit taxing and safety issues. I found the main tourist locations to be well policed and safe, but if you stray from these you must be very careful. Ideally be in the company of local Brazilians who can help navigate the city safely.
I loved Casa da Mae in Rio Vermelho, great atmosphere, awesome music, nice food and safe.
I found the local people more reserved and more challenging to connect with than in Sao Paulo. I sense this is due to the 'tourist' nature of the city.

Salvador is an incredible place.
Salvador is an incredible place. Lots of history, culture and friendly people. Would definitely recommend as a destination. Just be sure to have some basic Brazilian Portuguese phrases handy, as English is not widely spoken at all.

We were warned by everyone, including hotel staff and friends, that Salvador is a dangerous place. This made it difficult for us to enjoy the city's beauty without any concerns. However, we decided to take a City Tour with a group to learn more about the city and identify the places we wanted to visit again. The city tour gave us a better understanding of the city, which helped us appreciate it more. Go to Pelourinho, Igreja do Bonfim and Farol da Barra.

We had an idea that this place was beautiful, but it exceeded our expectations. Every street made beuatiful pictures, there was a lot of history, music and dancing. At first, the hsitorical area felt very touristy but there are ways to get a more authentic experience. We will recommend to all of our friends traveling in Brazil to make a stop in Salvador.
After a catastrophic discover of the 5* Fiesta Bahia Hotel, it was a great pleasure to find a real good 4* hotel, which does not pretend to be the best, but who is doing the work totally fine. Hotel is new, 100% clean. Despite room is small, if you have room with balcony, you even have view on the ocean. Breakfast is as good as any other 4* or 5* hotel, despite the room is small but big enough for the size of this small hotel. Kitchen cooks for you your desire breakfast. Shower with confortable hot water.
Lovely hotel in really nice safe area of Salvador with good night life n restaurants beside some nice beaches. Set in beautiful old colonial building with a beautiful architect designed modern extension with lovely gardens and courtyard's and some lovely modern art.really excellent breakfast and very very helpful staff when we lost a phone and one of our party had to cut their trip short. An excellent choice, way better than Pellegrino.highly recommended and good value.
I loved the boutique hotel and it’s simple and Brazilian style and the amazing food and location by the sea. The breakfast was perfect and a great place to start our travels as it was near enough to the airport. The area is great and the beach and hotel grounds are beautiful. The feel of the hotel is great and it has a good vibe and I want to stay there again !
The photons are from me and taken on my phone.
The owner Natalia was very accommodating. She made sure our stay was comfortable and offered great communication. When she was not present her staff members Sandra and Marcel were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were some of the best we stayed in Salvador after a 3 week stay. The location is very good, right by all the attractions of Salvador. The beaches are not far away at all (Uber).
The room was awesome and the view, stunning. I loved the breakfast and it was a 10 minute run from Farol da Barra, so you can jog along the Barra beach in the morning, it's pretty rad. The staff is very solicit, they give tips on where to eat outside and what to see on the city. Only thing I regret is not having more time to enjoy both the city and the hotel.
We loved the location, the hosts and the breakfast. It's located in a historical house, so for those who prefer steel and glass hotels with lots of AC, this is not for you. But for travelers who like a home experience, you are guests in the home of a Brazilian family! Clean and modest, with other guests who are eager to experience Brazilian culture.
As a Hilton Diamond member I was very pleasantly surprised at what this small & cosy hotel offered ,with the best breakfast we have had in Brazil!
It's proximity to the historical centre made the walking distance very comfortable.Staff Really cared about us as individuals. Well done.
Very nice location 50 meters from itapua beach.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet and dinner buffets were fantastic -- many choices. The outdoor patio was great for breakfast. The pool area is very nice and there is a bar there. It's a great hotel
location difficult to improve: across from beach, short walk from Barra Mall, Bompreço (grocery store); every room has some sea view; breakfast buffet; great security
the place to stay if you want to hang w/ Brazilians
Great hotel with pretty views on the city. Well located near the historical center (within walking distance). Nice pool. Good breakfast. Comfortable and clean. The staff were INCREDIBLY helpful and friendly.
Very nice hotel in central Salvador.
The staff were super friendly, the rooms are big and comfortable. I have never seen a bigger bed (more than 2meters)
The food at the restaurant was very good as well!
The hotel is beautiful, breakfast is great and the staff very helpful and welcoming. We had a great stay. There are lots of restaurants and bars in this area, easy to find a good place to have dinner.
