The hotel is very close to the Roman Bridge, but being on the other side of the river to the historic town area, you do not have to navigate your way through tiny, busy streets to get there, and there is secure underground car parking at the hotel. Perfect.

Good location in Cordoba, can walk to the old town in 10 minutes and also in the newer part of town for the main shops. Parking available but slightly cheaper in the Parkia which is around the corner.
Hotel and room was clean and pleasant, although not a flash or particularly stylish hotel but would recommend staying here if the price was good compared to others

As I mentioned in my main review, during the time of our stay, Cordoba Feria was on, so the place was pretty rammed with visitors, especially in the Old Town and Judiah sectors.
Similarly, it was necessary to pre-book restaurants for both lunch and dinner each day as all the decent ones were pretty much full. Also, dining times are a lot later than in the UK, lunch often between 1400 and 1600 and dinner between 2100 and 2330 hours. Interestingly, 90% of bars and restaurants plus a lot of the shops, seem to close between 1600 and 2000 hours, a throwback I think to days of siestas.
Temperature wise, in May it was about perfect during the daytime, in shorts and tee shirts, especially when the sun was out which was most of the time. However a fleece is definitely required in the evenings, especially if dining al fresco.
Had a very pleasant stay, and saw most of what I had intended to, but unsure whether I would be in a hurry to come back, especially given how busy the tourist areas were plus it proved quite a challenge to navigate the narrow streets especially if you happened to get caught up with a guided tour party of which there were many.
Oh, and very few people speak English either so to have a few words of basic Spanish is recommended.

Cordoba is well worth a visit.
Cordoba is well worth a visit. The old town is small enough to walk around on foot and the Mezquita and the Alcazar are amazing. Just walking around the old streets is really special. If you are thinking of going there do it!!

I came for the Festival of Patios and I saw 36 in the week I was there. I saw two flamenco shows in the Plaza, and I visited all the important sights: the Alcazar, the Mezquita, the Juderia, the Puente Romano, and I took a side trip to Medina al-Zahra. I recommend the City Sightseeing Bus for a first-day orientation to the city. It's very easy to get lost there.

It is a fun and warming city, the city was packed as this is the “patios season” so there were lots of gardens to see on top of all attractions like the “Mesquita- Cathedral”, cross the “Roman bridge”, the Alcázar, Baths and so own and even then the folks working or even citizens from Cordoba were very nice with tourists, I even got indications of patios to see and restaurants
The 5/5 stars on google and the 9.9/10 ratings on booking.com are definitely well deserved! We liked the unique interior design a lot. The entrance was welcoming and cutely organised. The receptionist took her time to sit down with us and introduce to us the attractions, food choices and secret tip of Córdoba. Our car was taken care of by the staff, which was all in all very helpful. We felt like at home and the familiar staff members fulfilled all our wishes and more. We‘ll definitely visit Cordoba and Hotel Suite Generis again!
Truly amazing place in the best possible location in the centre of Cordoba. The hotel reminds of the riads in Marrakesh, with a bright inviting patio and the apartments around. The roof terrace is a treat. Our apartment (Zafra) was very spacious, including the airy large bathroom. Very clean and modern on the inside. We would gladly stay longer and were sorry to leave so soon. You could easily spend a day in the hotel only, enjoying the street buzz from the windows, the sun on the roof or a quiet hour with a book in the patio.
Loved that you could book a room with parking, the staff at the pool bar area were so friendly and lovely, the atmosphere on the sunny pool deck was perfect. The hotel was in decent walking distance of all the main attractions. We had a simple breakfast at the hotel cafe which represented good value. Loved the comfort of the beds and the advantage of having a separate dressing area.
Amazing breakfast. Great pool area with slippers and towels provided. Amazing location in main central square. Great rooftop bar with views over main square. Staff were super attentive and offered complimentary Cava at check in. The room was bright and airy with a view over the square. Huge bathroom had a hydromassage tub and a large wet room. Best stay during our tour of Spain
Traditional hotel near Seneca Square. Inside the old town, so the main sights are only minutes away by foot. Large comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. Aircon is a must in one of the hottest places in Spain. If you travel by car, free parking Arrabal de Saqunda is about 10mins by foot across the Miraflores bridge.
This is the nicest boutique hotel I have ever stayed in. From the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff to the smallest detail in the room and bath, it was amazing. Not only is it in a unique location in La Juderia area of Cordoba, but the building itself is very beautiful and well kept.
I loved every thing about this hotel! It’s beautiful, large, peaceful, clean, stylish and luxurious.
The staff are super friendly and nice. The underground baths are so cool and relaxing.
. Everywhere you look is simply gorgeous. A must stay when in Cordoba!
Truly a 4-star hotel! Best one I’ve stayed at in Portugal & Spain. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good with lot of options and some regional selections. Bed was comfortable and rooms were clean and updated. Sustainability - no little shampoo bottles!
1st time getting one room for 3 friends. Room was spacious and had 4 beds with large bathroom. Room was back from noise of town. Had great a/c and 1st fan in bathroom during multiple stops in Spain. City's attractions are JUST outside the front door!
Property is new, clean and well positioned near railway station and old town. Breakfast is great. Beds are comfortable. They provided us early check-in free of charge. Finally, contrary to the most of hotels in Spain, soundproofing is excellent.
Sweet, comfortable apartment in a very central location. This was on of our favorite stays in Spain. Great location and just steps to hop on hop off bus. The whole apartment was well done. Everything you’ll need. Great value.
It is a beautiful property in the absolute best location. Cordoba is easy to explore on foot. We had many options for dining, shopping, ang sightseeing. The hotel's common areas are lovely. The breakfast was fantastic.
The hotel is situated outside Cordoba old town. But the hotel itself is very nice. Great architecture, amazing staff and restaurant. And they have swimming pool and play areas for kids.
This is literally like a 5 star hotel. Extremely luxurious and spacious enough for 8-10 people. Centrally located and exceptionally well furnished. Cannot recommend this place enough
Amazing apartment and beautiful patio. Good location close to everything. Teresa, the manager, was very helpful and full of positive energy. Best stay in Spain!
Terrific Hotel. Staff were courteous & polite. Given a lovely room which had all the amenities you would expect from a 5 star hotel.
Excellent all round! 👍
Laura at check in was sooo nice She really went above and beyond. Silvia at breakfast was also very nice. The staff at this hotel was the nicest in Spain.
Loved the place! Was one of the best of our several stays in Spain. So stylish and spacious, comfortable and quiet. Coffee pods were extra appreciated:)
