How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

We didn't like one staff from the rooftop in the pool i think his from Bangladesh if I'm not mistaken we know that we have a mistake because we didn't wear proper swimwaer then we ask for sorry and we are done to swim also that time. but 3times he came to us and repeat again and again the same thing we felt embarrass to other people in the pool. Atlist one's when he told ask is enough because we understand one's but he didn't stop. Until we leave in the rooftop very sad experience.
Facility was so wonderful 🥰

Tiny gym and pool. They charge you even for ice. Check out was disappointing, I was running late to the airport and they asked me to wait until housekeeping check my room for any consumption from the mini bar. I walked away so I catch my flight and they screamed at me as if I was a criminal on the run. They have your credit card details, passport, etc and don’t trust you when you say that you did no ate a 5 usd peanuts

Excellent hotel to stay. We lived in it for 5 days. Although the hotel is located a little away from the center, the location turned out to be excellent - fewer cars and people nearby, a couple of stops from the fish market, transport nearby. There is a liquor store and shopping centers nearby. A cheerful and friendly employee helped us in every situation

Not so good location; a female employee at reception was rude when I asked about the transfer.
Some employees are excellent (the one who works at the pool and the restaurant, who served me at the pool); comfortable room, pool with cool view; have a nice breakfast.

The location is satisfactory, we got a free upgrade for one room, which was nice. There are restaurants and shops nearby, some even open 24/7. There is a bus stop near the hotel from which you can easily get to the center. We had minor problems with buying public transport tickets, because machines are not at all stops, so I recommend buying them in advance at larger stations, it was not even possible to pay by card, so we still had to go to an ATM for cash. Certain types of tickets are also available at LuLu exchange offices, but they only have longer-term fares - a weekly pass for 7 days. The rooftop pool has a view, but it has few sunbeds.

Comfortable corner room with partial sea view. Location to the Corniche promenade. The helpful front desk especially Tushar Mukherjee. I had already prebooked tickets to The Louvre Abu Dhabi and Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, but asked for other suggestions that the locals might see. His WhatsApp suggestions were great - including the UAE Flag site (great photo site) and the Presidential Palace. He also arranged my transport back to Dubai after my stay in Abu Dhabi (appreciated, as I experienced a taxi overcharging me previously). The meals were discounted in the restaurant

The hotel’s pool is located on the roof and has no shade. This a problem in the beating down sun. The hotel is located near to many local bus lines, but no main attractions.
The room was great with a view of the coast and the city. The breakfast was great with a choice of both western and eastern foods. It also hand an omelet station.

I think the location is a bit far from important locations.
The breakfast was excellent and the pool over the top floor was also pretty good and pleasant. Overall I rate the stay very good. I liked how fast they responded to any request regarding housekeeping.
