I did not discover until the morning after I had arrived and placed all my food in the fridge that it had been set to maximum and all my food froze over - all of it, salads with grains, hummus, fruit. I had to reset the fridge and replace the food. The hot plates did not work. I looked for a switch at the back of the hot plates, there was none. I looked in the cabinetry under the hotplates to see if it needed to be plugged in. Nothing. So I used the microwave and advised reception. When the housekeeper came to have a look she showed me that they DO have to be turned on with a switch - and the switch is at the opposite end of the benchtop, at least a meter away, by the coffee machine and unlabeled. A note somewhere about that would be helpful. Scarborough itself seems to be Hoon Central. If you are staying here be prepared for the squealing tyres and revved engines of drag racing Friday night, Saturday night, Sunday morning, Monday morning ..... this is not anything the hotel can influence, its the area.

Every member of staff was friendly and helpful. The reception was manned early to late - no closing at 3pm and DIY, I was very grateful for that. They provided complimentary beach towels. I was able to extend my stay in the same room without any fuss. The shower was wonderful. The bathroom was a good size. There was plenty of storage. It was located close to supermarket, pharmacy, medical centre, cafes and that wonderful Scarborough Beach.

Need new mattresses

The location to the beach, restaurants and Thursday twilight food truck market was fantastic. Easy drive down the coast to swim with the dolphins, Rockingham. Lovely drive to the Swan Valley for lunch. Recommend Sub Zero Gelato in the Swan Valley, Yummy.

The rooms need updating, our currain were broken the taps in the bathroom were hard to use and the hallway carpets are all stained.

Location was very good. Close to shops and cafes.

The bathroom was not very clean. The glass on the verandah doors were really dirty. For a full kitchen, this is poorly stocked for cooking in.

This property is in a perfect location. There are cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Public transport is also at your doorstep. There is daily room service, a full kitchen with an oven and dishwasher, plus a laundry.

Pillows could have been a tad softer. A/C vents always blew directly on the bed somehow. It would be nice it we could have directed it away from the bed.

The bedrooms were very small. It was very hard to open your suitcase and move in the bedroom. Became frustrating very quickly.

I booked two months in advance and wrote for highest room with ocean view, when I arrived I had the lowest level with a view of the car park.

Floors were unclean throughout…cockroach in fridge & inside toilet lid…melted chocolate on kitchen floors!!!

Needed to pay bond when wasn't aware we needed too, not notified during booking.com booking or via website notices or anything. We were lucky we had the spare money as the front desk girl couldn't give a stuff and just kept repeating " I need $200 bond deposit or can't release room key". We would've lost the room and our money paid for it if we didn't come up with it on the spot. That was really disappointing as not everyone has spare money especially after alreadt spending over $1k on the room and the nights plans we made for my daughters 21st bday.

WiFi was difficult to stay on with more than 1 device, kept kicking 1 particular phone off

Small windowless bedroom with bed pushed against the wall on one side. Inconvenient to get in and out on that side and of course no bedside table.

Nothing at all - All great.

Our one bed apartment was excellent. Well equipped (everything we needed including a washing machine and dryer) and very comfortable. All in very good order. We had no problems with parking. Staff member (Marco) who checked us in was very welcoming, friendly and helpful (thank you Marco). Balcony well furnished and great view even though one block back from seafront properties. Only thing missing from this hotel is a pool.
