Friendly staff with neat and clean rooms. Located in a very nice area with beautiful gardens to enjoy walks in nature. Lovely little italian cafe close by.

Arrival at 18.10 pm was scary. Dark cold January, early evening, little light, confusing with many buildings, no one there to greet one, and main door not possible to open. The box with the key was frozen. I would not have made it inside if I had not stopped a car by chance which was on its way out. I was the only guest arriving and that way of running a reception was not impressive.

Breakfast was a pleasure.

A nice old place, however, carpets in clear need of a thorough clean - were rather unpleasantly smelly.

Breakfast, location and peace and quiet were the big plusses for staying here.

Only minor things, breakfast on most days was in a basement bar rather than the usual room and it could have done with more tables with normal height chairs rather than bar stools. We had to hide our cups each day to stop the cleaners taking them away - they were not always replaced when they did - and there was only a small and very random tea selection in the room, could have a bigger choice and replenish it for guests staying more than 1 night. But it was great to have a kettle, we did bring our own teas so all fine.

Fantastic location with a pleasant walk across the park to the railway station into the city. Easy access to the motorway as well for travel further afield. We stayed 5 nights and it was perfect for that. Really peaceful quiet location. Parking on site. Having breakfast in a historic building. Helpful staff, we pointed out a problem with a squeaky door and it was fixed that day. Breakfast was good with a wide choice. Italian restaurant just a short walk away for evening meals. With a Copenhagen Card we could get public transport and entry to pretty much every museum, castle etc we wanted to, not just in the city but in the whole region. It was especially value for money for several days.

A small refrigerator and an iron and ironing board in the room would be welcome. There is really nothing close to the hotel in terms of shopping or restaurants, nor is there a restaurant at the hotel, although the complimentary breakfast is quite satisfactory. So it’s perhaps not really a business hotel unless you have your own car. However as a weekend getaway it’s really rather special.

Reasonably basic, but perfectly adequate. The location is beautiful. The staff are friendly and helpful.

On the last day of our stay, we didn't have hot water in our room.

A nice hotel (former castle) surrounded by a large green area, not far from Copenhagen's center. The old-fashioned but comfortable rooms are located in smaller building near the main building (castle) where the reception and the breakfast room are located.

Nothing! If I were to say anything I would say that our apartment was a bit empty, could have been a bit more cosy.

Amazing place just outside of Copenhagen, easy to get there with the train in 20 minutes. Beautiful castle with nice rooms. Great park to walk with the dog and not to forget the delicious breakfast!!

Breakfast could be served a bit earlier, maybe 7.30. While traveling for work, breakfast from 8.00 might be a little complication.

Nice and quiet location, but a little bit far from communication. Great option for bike. Nice breakfast. All good and clean.

Fantastic seetings in Bernstofparken. Rooms are fine but the main building is the attraction. A former summer residence for the Royal family. Great brunch with lots of selections and good quality. Stroll around the park with its open plains, riding grounds, tea house and gardens is a must!

Beautiful castle in huge park, very comfortable rooms in outbuildings, close to bus connections or some 15 minutes to commuter train station. Very friendly staff and delicious breakfast, nearby Italian restaurant highly recomendable
