Everything about this hotel was distinctively considerate to guests, beginning with the phone call before we arrived checking our requirements and arrival time. The greeting at Reception was personal, offering a cool welcome drink before checking us in. The location is central, actually on the main pedestrian street. Our room at the rear of the hotel on 4th floor was cool, quiet and comfortable … plus a welcome macaroon! All the staff were cheerful, helpful and professional but I need to highlight the team in the roofbar and restaurant on the 6th floor. The food was delicious (like the goats cheese salad with strawberries) and the beer was cold. Each day at breakfast our daughter (on a business trip to Málaga) called in and left her one-year old with us for the day. A high chair appeared and a baby bowl and spoon. Our grand-daughter was treated like a celebrity and she wasn’t even staying in the hotel. Reception gave us maps and advice, arranged a taxi and so on. It is a haven in the heart of Málaga

For a nearly new hotel, the bathroom was in poor condition with lots of missing grout and a loose floor tile in front of the wash basin. The exterior windows were well insulated for noise, but there was considerable noise from the corridor. Tea and coffee were provided, but (for an Australian palate) were undrinkable.

The location was excellent. Very central to everything. In nearly all regards, the room was excellent. The bed was simply huge and as comfortable as any I've eccentric slept in.

Door of room would not lock at night. "Japanese toilet" didn't seem to be working. Curtains not a good fit against ambient light from the street. Two nights of disrupted sleep due to cherry pickers putting up shade sails outside for a light show and then taking them down again. Not the fault of the Hotel but a drawback of staying in this street.

Lovely hotel perfectly positioned on the main shopping street in Malaga and short walk to port, beach and many lovely restaurants and bars. Rooftop bar on the 6th floor was amazing with views of the cathedral,and beyond. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Every member of staff we came into contact with was helpful and polite and made you feel very welcome.

A fantastic hotel, excellent location & very modern but welcoming in it's furnishings. The staff were amazing from the minute we stepped in to reception. Loved the location of the bar and restaurant, a lovely rooftop experience, with great views of the cathedral and old town. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice, and freshly prepared hot choices too. We had a family issue and had to leave a few days early, and the hotel were fantastic. They were very kind and accommodating and that really helped us - so thank you! We will be back again as we did not get to spend much time in the city, and will definitely be staying at this hotel

Only small nitpicks, that didn't change our overall enjoyment of the stay: - location at the busy street has many advantages, but also means that you hear noise at night - perhaps investing in a better soundproofing may be a good idea? - bed mattress is too soft - but honestly that depends on what one likes.

- fantastic location - in the middle of the shopping district, close to the historical centre and seaside promenade. - nice staff. - the hotel has a nice restaurant. - cleanliness definitely satisfactory.
