The toilet had holes in the wall as did our room. Our door didn’t lock unless we barged the door shut. I think it was a bit ridiculous that we had to pay £20 just to leave our bag in the room when everywhere else would do this as common courtesy.

Homestays can be difficult as you can't control the other guests, but we had multiple issues. One guest kept hard-locking the door which stopped people from being able to enter the building, and another kept blasting music and talking until ~3am each night. We felt uncomfortable being in common areas due to this. There was garbage left on top of the bins and dishes left unwashed. Also, the upstairs bathroom was very small and the downstairs one had mould around the bath. Due to this, we ended up leaving and not staying our final night.

The location was very convenient for reaching Drumsheds with both the bus and ubers being very cheap and easy to get. Each of the beds had heated blankets which was a nice surprise and necessary as there seemed to be no heating in the property. The room was a good size and the beds were comfortable, with extension cables in multiple spots so there was no issue with electronics, and extra blankets in the cupboard for if they were needed.

The accommodation is very worn down, it is clean superficially, but as soon as you start looking around, for example, in kitchen cabinets, it is dirty and sticky. There was no toilet paper at some point, and nobody to refill it. And our neighbors encountered a mouse in the kitchen. Walls are thin, so your sleep is totally dependent on how quiet your neighbors are. One of the beds was waaaaaay to soft.

It is basically just a room in a house. There is a shared bathroom so do bear this in mind. We didn't receive any clean towels.

For the price in London it is definitely a plus. The location is good, close to a high street with bars/restaurants/eateries all close by. In addition public transport links are good with an overground station in easy walking distance.

In reality the house and facilities looked older and much more used (not dirty, just past their best!) than I expected from the photos, common kitchen and bathroom were right behind our door, so whenever someone went to have a shower or make their breakfast, we could hear it. Generally, if you're looking for a place to spend a night and do not care too much about abovementioned, go for it, because it wouldn't get cheaper in the central area. Just don't expect a super polished shiny hotel room.

The owner provided detailed info on how to get to the accommodation and was ready to answer any questions as well via WhatsApp. The house is a walking distance from Tottenham Hale tube/train/bus station. Also one of the stops on the line of Stansted Express train, if you're traveling from Stansted airport. For football enthusiasts - Spurs stadium is also about a 15 mins walk away.

Very noisy room. Right next to the kitchen, where all other guests congregate late nights and early mornings. Same for the outdoor patio, it is literally outside of the window . The door is a joke - feels like paper door. Room quality is low.

the house smelt of piss when we first arrived which was off putting, the shared bathroom is very small and isn’t of the best quality (which could explain why there is no pics of it within the listing) and pics of rooms are slightly misleading since no towels are provided
