How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

As with all hotels the bathrooms aren’t large which wasn’t a problem and was to be expected but the toilet itself was quite low to the ground, my partner who is 6”4 struggled to sit down haha. We went to the adjoining restaurant for cocktail hour and the drinks were gross, we didn’t eat but saw a number of customers complain about the food / wait times so wouldn’t recommend. We went elsewhere for breakfast and glad we did. Spoons round the corner was empty, fast, tasty and cheap.
Location is brilliant, very stylish and clean room. Coffee station downstairs a lovely touch. Bed was comfortable, tv and table to do makeup was great.

Only negative point was there could have been more coat hangers and somewhere to hang coats/jackets
Location was great as was attending an event at the arena, but still close enough to city centre.

The only thing I'd mention is that we couldn't get the heating on. The air con was on already and as it got later we felt a bit cold. We had turned to air con off a bit earlier but couldn't get the heating on. Instructions would have been helpful or something.
Only needed somewhere to change and sleep for night as we was watching a comedy gig there so wasn't looking for anything fancy, just something clean, convenient, comfortable and affordable... it was all this and actually quite nice. Quite a quirky hotel, staff seemed friendly at reception. Got a discount for parking. You can stream off your phone to the TV but we lost connection but didn't ruin the night just worth a mention if there a while. Good when it worked though to have that option when winding down. They have a restaurant there but if you want breakfast then be up on time and ready or you snooze and loose like we did as it ends at 10am... thank god for weatherspoons which isn't far, as wasn't the dominoes we had for tea the night before right next door and close to bars, restaurants and shopping centre. Liked the late checkout time though too. All in all was happy and thought we had a bargain to be honest.

The hotel had a professional feel to it but was unpretentious and would suit all travellers, for leisure or business. It was refreshing to have an actual person at reception at all the times I went in and out - a luxury these days in hotels! Very pet friendly with some warm smiles and dog treats when we arrived. P

Gutted that the breakfast situation has changed. We used to look forward to the free continental breakfast. Not always sure if we will get a comfortable bed its pot luck so I'm hoping all rooms will have the same comfy beds in time.
Location was great, I have stayed here many times and its always great, i have stayed on 2nd floor where bed was uncomfortable but on the 4th floor this visit which the bed was amazing.
