Great hotel

There wasn’t much we didn’t like about this hotel. It was actually a relatively large hotel, but it felt very intimate and quaint.

The staff at the Montague were extremely accommodating. We felt very welcomed and valued. Our room is beautiful and unique. The attached bistro was just perfect. The concierge was very helpful and we were both very sad to have to leave.

Lovely hotel with even a lovelier staff. The location was perfect. Quiet but within close proximity to other sites. It is a great place if visiting the British Museum. Well-appointed rooms. Small but comfortable. Great linens. Thank you to everyone who took great care of us.

The only problem was that the building is going through constructions so it’s noisy and the windows are half blocked and it wasn’t mentioned anywhere

The staff was really helpful in every way. Especially India at reception. Always with a smile, friendly and helpful. Nice garden terrace in the restaurant.

There was nothing I did not like, but maybe since they are a childfriendly hotel, a small play-corner for kids near the restaurant/lobby/bar would make it even more perfect.

The staff was super nice, the breakfast very good. The kids loved the hotel too. Location was very good, lots to do on a walking distance and lots of public transport to get everywere you wish.

The hotel was very elegant. The staff were all incredibly friendly and kind. The welcome cookie plate to help celebrate our anniversary made us feel especially welcome the moment we stepped into our room.

Some concerns about cleanliness, more attention should be given specially floor vacuum and toilet. Lack of important bathroom items such as small towels and soap bar.

A little more variety in the breakfast offerings on the buffet, however they will make anything to order.

This is a lovely, traditional British hotel with the most wonderful staff one could expect. From the front desk, to the dining room, to the lively Leopard bar they all excelled in doing their best to please. The public areas were comfortable, without being stuffy, the rooms well furnished and the decor was lovely. Located across from the British Museum on a quiet street with easy access to bus and subway transportation. We were two single ladies traveling to the Chelsea Flower Show and felt that everyone looked after us, we were with family. We would highly recommend this hotel and would return.

I didn't really mind it but my room was quite small (but very elegant and well serviced by the housekeeping staff). The location was good but, although close by three tube stops, each one was a few blocks away.

The staff were all superb, pleasant and professional. I felt like I was staying with friends. I loved the decor of the hotel,traditional but with modern conveniences. I felt comfortable there. I often sat in the bar in the evening, with a glass of wine and a bite to eat. it is a welcoming place.

Construction going on during our high tea in the Leopard Bar was noisy and inappropriate.

Coffee was muddy tasting and lukewarm at best. Had to go down the street for good coffee.

Comfort, staffing, and attention to detail. Mustafa the concierge was immensely helpful in retrieving my lost prescription sunglasses from a cab. Loved the staff!
