How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The location was perfect,Anastasia is probably the best host I’ve ever met. Extremely welcoming and hospitable. Near the beach and the perfect little cafe. Close enough to Zante without the crowd.

The mattress was a bit soft for my liking.
Milena is such a sweet, kind and lovely person. She is all smiles. She let me stay a bit later after checkout as my flight was only in the evening. Much appreciated. The apartment is conveniently located near to one of the best restaurants I've ever been to, Peppermint and a magical bakery, Mylanos. The area is nice too.

The shower had no curtain and it made showering difficult as you would flood the bathroom every time you take a shower.
Perfect location with little bakery around the corner and good restaurants nearby.

WIFI was not stable. the transportation around the property were not regular, so plan to rent a car or motorcycle to be able to visit the island and its nice beaches.
perfect!, the hosts Milena and Anastasia were so kind and helpful during our staying. the location was good, cleanness, calm and not far from the downtown Zan nor the airport .

The hosts were so lovely, made me feel very welcome and safe as a solo female traveller. The location was great, close enough to the beach, bakery and road, but just back from things so nice and quiet. The kitchen area was just enough for a few days, and the desk was great to work on.

I am trying to think of something but we had no issues and nothing to complain about!
The property was as shown in photos, very clean, in a great location, comfortable beds, it is well looked after and the host is very helpful. My friend & I got some great service throughout our stay with recommendations and regular cleaning of the property. Happy with our stay here in Zakynthos! Location is great as it is away from the very busy areas but located well enough to be near everything you need!

The only thing is that the kitchen is a bit older and it was not possible to prepare a meal, in one of two apartmants we rented.
The accommodation is excellent. The location is great, far enough away from the hustle and bustle and close enough that it is pleasant to walk by foot from the center. The accommodation was clean, they changed sheets every third day and they clean it every day.

The studio was located in a quiet road in the centre of Argassi near all the shops, restaurants, bars and a very nice bakery. The room was spotless, had a lovely balcony, and all possible amenities (kitchen utensils, iron, toiletries and an awesome hairdryer) . The hosts made us feel welcome and were very accommodating. We would definitely go back!

if you wanted to cook, you need some more equipment, but Greek food is the best, so i think its better to go to a restaurant. ;-)

The host helped us very much with renting a car for a very good price and everything we needed to know. The beds were comfy and we really appreciate that every day the room was cleaned up. The location is close to argassi beach and we had a bakery very closed to our location, maybe the best in town.

Nothing stands out as bad
Set back from main strip so little noise at night but close to beach and restaurants. Good size balcony and beds very comfortable. Basic but Very Clean and very good value apartments. Milena very helpfull and fast responses to any queries. Would stay again.
