The stairs are steep but this is not an issue at all unless you have walking difficulties.

Great value for money (not a luxurious room but good for what we paid) and we had a nice view from the balcony. The staff were nice. The location is good with some restaurants and shops nearby (e.g., pharmacy, grocery store).

We were fine as my husband has got his new knees, but a year ago he could not have managed the stairs. And a tiny bathroom/shower.

Spotlessly clean, lovely warm welcome, comfortable beds, nice view over the port from balcony, kettle and sandwich maker in room, nice roof terrace, quiet even though its on a main street.

Room felt like a box.

Convenient for a stopover when you have a late arrival flight. Room was like a box but we had aircon and everything looked clean. I had loads of funny bites the next day but couldn’t narrow it down to exactly where from, so wouldn’t be fair to say definitely here as the beds looked and felt very clean. Breakfast good. Fabulous wood fired pizza restaurant nearby.

Simple room in front of the harbour. Very clean but the room would need some renovations. It was goo for the one night we stayed, the owner was very accommodating with our late check in due to delayed flight. Fantastic breakfast on the roof terrace.

Location close to Chania and in the center of smaller city Souda was ideal for us. The landlady was vety nice and helpfull.

Not much light in our room; only a small window which gave little light, and there was no view at all. The bathroom had a large step from the bedroom but it wasn't a problem at all. Please don't be put off!

We arrived very late (even later than planned) due to a flight delay but the host was on-hand to show us to our room. We only stayed for one night on our way elsewhere but it was a good night's sleep in a convenient location. The room was spotless, and had a selection of drinks (including raki) waiting for us. Parking is easy out the front. Very quiet despite the central location, and very well equipped.

We chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport. We had a late flight and the hotel offered late check-ins (we got this recommendation from other reviews). Small balcony overlooking a pretty square and near to the port. Bus stop nearby.

Clean, comfortable, and great value. We stayed for a night after arriving on a late flight before going on to travel the island. This is a great stop off. Basic but clean & comfortable. Lovely location looking out over a little square and on to the harbour. Friendly staff, definitely recommend.

The shower was a bit small for a couple but definitely good for showers, just not for the fun time showers, so not really a bad thing.

The place was amazing and totally worth it, the staff was kind and extremely accommodating, the room was exactly what it was advertised on the site and there was a roof garden directly next to the room I stayed which was the best thing each morning for breakfast. Definitely recommend it and definitely would book again.

I didn't know until the last min whether we'll be able to check in late (our original arrival was 11pm), as I notified about this on booking messenger, but didn't get any response back. I had to rely on previous comments and wish for the best. The bathroom is tiny with shower only separated by narrow glass wall, so it's leaking everywhere around. Area is quite noisy day and night, so we couldn't sleep well. Night curtains/blinds/shutters would help a lot too.

Convenient location relatively close to airport, our flight was delayed, but the owner stayed up to check us in. Big room, nice balcony, there were water and a bottle of raki left for us in a fridge which was a nice touch. The view of the park and bay is beautiful. Plenty of eateries just on the road

Rooms are a little run down, but clean.

Excellent little hotel close to the airport ideal for those who have a flight arriving late. Street parking is easy. There's a little tourist area right in front of the hotel where you can start your holiday. The hotel has character and a massive rooftop patio where you can enjoy the good breakfast with views of the surrounding mountains. Like I said, ideal place for a night after you arrive.
