The location is absolutely fine, nice view from floor 34. Our room and bathroom was really tidy, with everyday cleaning service. Friendly staff and an extra point for breakfast. If you take the advice, using the elevators is also not problematic. There is a luggage storage service after checkout until the end of day, that was a massive thumbs up for us.

The AC's in the room were really very noisy, so noisy to the point that both nights we were there we had to turn it off and brave the warm weather. Also, although we were forewarned about this by the hotel, the lifts took absolutely ages to come during breakfast time (we waiting between 15-20 minutes for a lift). The breakfast itself was not great. By the time we got down there most breakfast items had finished and there was no space to sit down. We ended up eating out for breakfast on both mornings we were there.

The location of the hotel was brilliant. We had booked two rooms, one room with the city view and this room really did have a magnificent view. We could see the Empire State building, Vanderbuilt building and even The Edge platform. The room itself was lovely, and bathroom was not too cramped and clean. We had forgotten our toothbrushes and the hotel kindly provided this, they even kindly provided us with early check in (as we got there a few hours before check in time) and a late check out the day we were leaving! thank you!

Elevator took forever, unavailable to get down during morning time, most people used stairs to walk down instead of the elevator. Charge for bottle water.

Loved the amazing view from my room on the 42nd floor! Good location in Chelsea with easy access to the subway and a short walk from the Flatiron building. Appreciated coffee and fridge in the room.

The elevator situation described in other reviews is real, often one can wait 10-15minutes to get one when its not in the middle of the night

The elevator takes a few minutes to appear, but it is not an issue. There is no common place on the first floor to hang out before and after check-in/checkout. It is not a big deal, the place is great!

Breakfast is good, has a great location, and has a nice view if you take the rooms at the top of the building. The staff was nice all the time. The place is good!

The air quality awful inside the room , stuffy poor ventilation, air conditioning did not work, although the maintenance was called twice! It was reset and worked for about an hour then quickly stopped working again. I wouldn’t advice staying here during the summer months, I believe most of the air conditioning systems in the rooms are not working. They appear to be working when you arrive but there not, we dread going back to our room bc of the air conditioning issue(we were there for 1 night if it had been longer I would of switch hotels) and if it was later in the summer bc the heat would of been unbearable!

The hotel was clean throughout, the breakfast was fantastic lots of choices , the room was a good size, the shower was upscale. The terrace on the 2nd floor gorgeous!!! Prices not good very expensive but you can take your own food and drinks up there!!!

Our room was very warm and we were unable to adjust the thermostat. We were told it couldn't go below 68° but I'm fairly certain that our room was hotter than 68° as well as being humid. Thankfully, since it's the end of May, the evenings are still fairly cool so we were able to open a window to get a little relief overnight.
