Built in 1722, Okyakuya is situated in the historical district of Kurokawa Onsen district. Located only 100 metres from Kurokawa Onsen, Free WiFi is provided and private parking is available on site. Three hundred year history is beautifully maintained. The food rivals any Michelin restaurant. The staff is kind and gracious. The onsen was our favourite in Kurokawa onsen:)!

Minshuku Asogen ligger i Aso, 30 km fra Egao Kenko Stadion Kumamoto, 38 km fra Kumamoto Slot og 38 km fra Suizenji Park. I can only rate this place as 10/10. It's what you would expect from a Ryokan, and more. Specifically, i'd say two things are better than other great Ryokan, the onsen (private suites with windows that can be opened to "transform" the main room into a rotemburo at will) and the kaiseki dinner, where chu-toro, basashi and marbled beef were on the menu. Apart from an extensive sake menu. Other than that, the owners / team managing it are super nice and helpful. Perfect place to enjoy before/after an Aso trek.

Situated along Tanohara River and surrounded by tranquil nature in Kurokawa Onsen hot spring area, Oku no Yu Ryokan offers charming Japanese-style accommodation and various hot spring baths. the surrounding is just beautiful and very peaceful. The room with private Onsen was totally worth it. Staff was very helpful and even picked us up from the bus station and brought us there on the day of departure. Highly recommend staying here!

Located in the centre of Kurokawa Onsen, Oyado Noshiyu offers outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, Japanese-style accommodations and a traditional teahouse. Everything was more tan perfect. We had an amazing stay here. Staff was extremely friendly, food was fantastic, breakfast was so relaxing atmosphere. The Onsens were soo relaxing. It was like you just stay in a forest with nothing else around you. Relly recommend to everyone who wants to enjoy a Ryokan Onsen at its best

Yamashinobu ligger omgivet af skov og har offentlige og private varme kilder, et astronomisk observatorium og et klaver. Nogle af ferieboligerne i japansk stil har eget udendørs varmt kildebad. This hotel is superb! Very Peaceful. All service is great. Room and bed are very comfortable.

Boasting spacious indoor and outdoor hot spring baths surrounded by lush greenery, Ryokan Wakaba provides Japanese-style accommodation in the peaceful mountain area. Skønt sted, med den dejligste onsen, både puplic og privat rummet. Værelset var rigtig flot. God mad. Personalet var meget venlige og hjælpsomme. Kan kun anbefale stedet.
