The accommodation was great. The location was ideal but Margate is a mess. Vagrants all over and they make you feel unsafe. You do not dare to go for a walk anywhere, especially on the beach. Sorry, that is how i feel. I am 68 and not frail.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

The area, the location, the beach. Margate is sooo relaxed, so calm! The beach there is so beautiful and leisurely. Everyone there is laid back. Decent and safe place to take kids and to just sit back and relax.

Margate is a small town, that operates on its own terms.
Margate is a small town, that operates on its own terms. The people are warm and welcoming. When we were there the weather was gloomy and raining, so we never go to truly experience beautiful sunny weather. Restaurants are okay the food is okay not great, however the service is terrible.

Everything you need is around it is a walking distance you don't need to drive shops,clubs, swimming pool,beach, restaurants ,ShopRite isn't far we liked everything outside the premise it's only the apartment that disappointed us otherwise we had so much fun

The owners Andre and Bessie take the cup, they went all out to make sure we have a pleasant stay. She even offered us to use her kitchen instead of using a place catered for guests. The staff is as friendly and helpful as the owner. The breakfast was yummy😋😋😋..... its really a home away from home. All the places we wanted to see were about 10 to 20 minutes drive from the villa, e.g. the waffle house, the lobster pot, Mac banana, and wild coast water world. The beach restaurant has amazing pizza, and the hotel restaurant has divine food.
