It has its charm, but I would recommend staying in Gueliss...
It has its charm, but I would recommend staying in Gueliss or Hivernage and going to souk just to do some local shopping and whatever museums you want to visit. The tombes Sadieens were super small for the price paid. The Bahia Palace is nice. But the best by far are the Jardin Marjorelle, beautiful!! and YSL museum as well. Some restaurants in the area are much better than trying to eat in Medina. The souk closed all the food places in the square for food contamination. It's quite hectic and noisy and there is a lot of animal abuse that broke my heart, like monkeys in chains, exploded horses and donkeys, and if you go to the desert same for camels. Nice places to visit are Agafey, Essaouira, Ourika and Ouzoud waterfalls. But the centre of Marrakech you do it in 3 days more than enough. Also be ready to negotiate everything from what you buy to taxis. Half price everything and you still scammed! A fair price for taxis from Medina to Gueliss is 200-300dh, and locals pay much less. A taxi had the counter and didn't even made it to 170dh, and they will ask you to pay 500dh for that ride easily. From airport to Medina around 120-150 dh, no more, and probably it's already a lot.

Marrakech is a magical place with so much to do and see.
Marrakech is a magical place with so much to do and see. Take a day to acclimate yourself to the local chaos before buying in the souk. Don’t worry about the bikes and traffic, it’s mad at first but it works and you get use to it quickly .Take a guided tour of the city. Explore the jardin Majorelle and museums attached to it. The jardin des épices is a super cafe to go to. Koutoubia Herbal worth a visité for your spices and teas and oil. Visit the Jewish quarter. Do a hamam and massage. Take a trip to the desert. Tip, think of what something s worth to you and be happy to pay that. Breath in the smells, take in the colours, the heat, the noise of the city. Emerge yourself in the history and the culture. Enjoy!

A total change of environment from UK/France.
The architecture and touch of mother nature (trees) and wide spaces is beautiful.
A bit too touristical to my point where you have networks of "guides" meant to take you as much money as they can since you are a tourist.
We managed to experience the real Marrakch food and else by leaving this touristical trail/networks, by going to places only packed with Morrocans like marrakech fastfoods and out of Marrakech souk (where we were the onky foreigner). Do not take a guide, rent a car and and go by yourself.
Look sharp for excursions, we manage to find Air balloon at Atlas Montgolfière at €140 per head with EXCELLENT service. This was in end of May 2024

The buildings, architecture and general friendliness of...
The buildings, architecture and general friendliness of people was wonderful. Beautiful restaurants in hidden places and lots of things to explore. Palaces, gardens, excursions etc! Expect to do LOTS of walking in the riads - we averaged around 25000 steps per day - but be careful of the motorbikes that take priority in the souks/markets and are constant. Road wise, taxis are plentiful and cheap - alongside donkey and horse rides.
We stayed for 4 nights and found that enough. on HOT day with limited swimming pools etc, the heat was a lot. You are constantly coming across places you didnt know existed before, we were still finding new markets on our last day that we had no idea existed. Prepare yourself for CONSTANT hassle from market stall holders. They never drop it - they will shout at you all day every day to come in and that can be draining.
Mobile networks work poorly. Get a local sim or esim and use this for Google Maps to find your way around. Most resturants/hotels/riads have decent wifi but out and about there is nothing.
You will see a whole culture of animal abuse - monkeys on chains, snake charmers standing on snakes, donkeys sore hot and weighed down by carts, tortoises/lizards and birds in cages - its not for the feint hearted.

Really enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere at night.
Really enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere at night. Felt very safe at all times. Main square, famous misuse landmark and Tinsmith square worth a visit.
Found it quite tricky to cross the larger roads due to the volume of traffic.
Found getting around easy on foot and taxis were very reasonable (able to agree a price before getting in) All people we interacted with were very friendly and accomodating.
Will definitely come back and explore more of the centre.

The local people were amazingly friendly and helpful!
I liked the way the welcome us and appreciating visiting Marrakech
The only bad experience, few of us had food poisoning!
Breakfast was delicious, quite simple but really good quality. All the staff at the Riad were really friendly, helpful and quiet. The location is fantastic in the heart of the Medina, very close to a square with good restaurants, about a 10 minute walk from the main square but it was nice to leave the bustle of the main square behind and return to our peaceful, clean, cool and calm home from home. Highly recommend for those that like the simple things in life rather than opulent 5 star large hotels.
Lovely staff, very kind and helpful. We stayed for two nights at the end of one month in Morocco. We just chilled and didn’t leave the premises. It is in an agricultural area with no traffic noise. The hotel chef is very friendly and accommodating.
The location was good for us as a retreat before flying home. It might be inconvenient for sightseeing, as there are no other restaurants or tourist activities or destinations within walking distance. The pool and grounds are .great
Would 100% recommend. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast is tasty. Location is good and within walking distanvce of the medina. What makes this hotel exceptional is the staff! They were extremely welcoming and hospitable. To name but a few Mohammed, Manal and Said provided a 5 star service and we can't thank them enough for making our stay in Marakesh so comfortable. Beautiful city and beautiful people. Would not hesitate in booking again..
Amazing riad. Very very beautiful, with the best people working inside. Really, the most amazing people we met all in Morocco, we’re from there. Specially Soufiane, who pointed us the best places to eat and the best places to visit.
They make the best Morocco tea we drank (available anytime) and an amazing breakfast.
The rooftop was a nice surprise as well.
When I go back to Marrakesh I’ll definitely stay there again.
I vowed never to do all inclusive but did it for the sake of my 10yr old son. We loved it. The food is great. It’s a buffet at all meals and the only thing is they cook too much so there’s always loads left over. The pool bar serves snacks throughout so you can never be hungry. The aqua park is great for kids he had so much fun. The hotel is beautiful, rooms are a big size. Nice well kept surroundings.
very disappointed I have booked the hotel Atlas asni and it was close ….
we have been transferred to other property which was very dirty …
the room was disgusting…
the staff were very unprofessional
they have as wait more then 20 minutes to get the information from the other hotel
the room was nothing like 5 star
the breakfast below the expectations
the management of this hotel need to wake-up
Staff are welcoming, accommodating and fun. The hotel has everything from sports to entertainment. A Zen pool where it is adults only and quiet, away from the main pool and separate kids pool. The main pool has activities throughout the day from cooking to water aerobics there are mini sport tournaments as well. All inclusive and excellent value for money with no restrictions. Highly recommended
Very nice location and hotel aesthetic. Everything was very clean and organized. Moussa is the best manager. Very kind, cool and always eager to help with our reservation, transfer and also booked very nice restaurants. Moussa also did us the best breakfast and his simplicity melted our hearts. Never felt safer. Moussa is the best! 5 star person all the way!!!
Mr. Lahcen helped us very well and guided us well. He is very nice and helpful person. He really does his job well. It was beyond our expectations. This is definitely a hotel for families with children. Restaurant, breakfast and bar you can enjoy culinear food. pools are warm. everyone is with smile and very nice. This hotel deserves 5 star
Getting parked was never a huge issue. The common areas are beautiful and so are the rooms. The staff were amazingly helpful and courteous. Loved the pool on the roof. Of the 3 other hotels, booked for this Morocco trip, Jadali was the best and served as a perfect launchpad for our group to visit clubs in the area; like Triple 5.
The manager and staffer at riad kesh soul are the best Humans I have ever encountered in Morocco, they went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable, helped me with my flight issues more than a normal hotel would do , I am forever grateful to them for all they did for me when my flight got canceled Allah bless them
Anas made my whole trip. His friendly personality and great energy made my whole stay enjoyable. His ability to go above and beyond was incredible. His tips and advances made Morocco easy to navigate. I would return to this riat only for Anas's hospitality. Thank you again Anas, I really enjoyed my time in Marrakesh.
People working at the Hôtel are helpful and very friendly. This is the only 5 star experience in this hotel. However, couldn’t say the same for the checkout moment - none of the people working at the reception asked me if I enjoyed my stay at the hotel or if everything was fine.
Very nice hotel, lots going on to keep everyone busy. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Especially Salma, Abdel and Ayoub. There is an outdoor heated pool which was an unexpected bonus. Lots of choice at mealtimes and good cocktails included in the all inclusive package.
Great design building , absolutely value for money , restraunt is 5 star , the Brekfast is plentiful , I booked 1 night originally just to check it out before I book the rest of my 7 nights here , was the cheapest compared to other hotels in the area , undervalued worth more
Everything was good, from checking in to checking out. Lovely staff good selection for breakfast. Would recommend this hotel. Safe family hotel. Very good location. Next to the mall. Everything is near by central location. And 5 star.
simply amazing, staff are so friendly and accommodating, you feel like you are in a 5 stars luxury hotel, but actually this is more than that. I will always stay here every time I am back to Marrakech. Thank you 🙏
The riad is not extraordinary, but very spacious rooms. Lighting could be better. It is quite dark inside. However, the service is worth of a 5 star hotel. Very friendly and polite, very helpful.
