It was clean, well-staffed and the bed was extremely comfortable. Exactly what I needed after a long day on the Camino. Perfecto.

We thought Sarria would have a lot to offer since it is a major hub for Pilgrims. The historical section is so charming and has a handful of fun restaurants and hostels. Wish it had more boutique—like hotels b/c, otherwise, Sarria seems to lack charming housing options. There is a great store at the bottom of the hill as you are about to ascend up the infamous stairs to the historical section and out of town on with your walk. They have anything one would need for the Camino and there is a great pharmacy across the street as well.

Room on the ground floor was very spacious, bright.
Room on the ground floor was very spacious, bright. Lovely hot water, clean towels and toiletries provided. If doing the Camino walk id definitely recommend this place.
Great location and friendly staff.
This is a beautiful apartment located very close to the old town in Sarria and very close to the Camino route. A great place to stay and relax as part of our journey. It is a spacious 4 bedroom apartment which suited our needs and the sitting room was very pleasant.
Our host was lovely and arrived promptly to let us into the apartment. She was very helpful in guiding us to somewhere to eat, a great find. If ever in Sarria again we would definitely use this apartment.
Beautiful modern spotlessly clean hotel. Very conveniently positioned. Silent at night, just off the Camino. Lovely owner and most welcoming. Superb breakfast with a fantastic lady making everything from scratch. Have the full breakfast, served from 07:30. Worth leaving a little later for. Stayed finishing Camino in May, stayed in October to restart the final section. Will stay again on next Camino or visit to the area.
The historical section/area of Sarria is really great. This hotel is down the hill from it and does the job of providing a private room and bath. Staff was waiting for us and very helpful but then gone with no way that we saw to reach anyone. Nothing at all wrong with the pension, but we would next time look for something up the hill in the historical area which is much more charming. Still, the pension did the job.
Funky little place right on the Camino in the middle of Sarria. It’s not fancy, and I felt that the €60 charge for the night was a little steep compared to the quality of the hotel (but I understand rooms are scarce in Sarria). That being said, the bed was amazingly comfortable and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would stay here again.
Words cannot express Casa Acougo. Beautiful house in the country, very close to Sarria. Lucia and Sebastian were the best hosts I have ever experienced. Homemade dinner prepared by Sebastian was superb, along with continuous wine. Lucia made me feel at home with her generosity and kindness. Magnificent house surrounded by woods.
excellent location with superb on site staff. super close to restaurants and Camino trail. property is directly across the street from the police station. hotel arranged taxi service between the Santiago de Compostela airport and the hotel in Sarria and it worked like a charm.
Everything. It was right on the Camino, extraordinarily super clean, beautiful garden to hang out in, and comfortable dorm beds. Christina, the albergue owner, was very helpful in orienting us to the sites of Sarria. We were very happy with this stay! Recommend highly.
Everything. Eloy and the lady were amazing. You can tell the property is cared for and Eloy went out of his way to offer information, cultural knowledge, and recommendations.
Sarria, the town, is also lovely in every aspect we encountered.
The hostess Marcella runs the place, and gets to know every guest. Her breakfasts encourage other guests to sit together and enjoy the Camino experience. This the best way to start your Camino if you’re starting in Sarria!
Super family run bar, don’t miss Bells French fries . Great staff
And lunch , excellent location
Small point is could do with more heating , otherwise a great value for money boutique hotel option
Extremely friendly and welcoming host who waited for our very late check-in (after mid night)!!
If I would have returned to Sarria, I would definitely go back to here!
