I usually forget to comment on reservations, but this palace forced me to comment. Frankly, this is the best place I stayed in during my trip that started from Rome. Of course, this palace has been owned by a family for generations and has been updated in a modern style. I will definitely return 👍

We were met from the bus (bus stop 8) by Sylvia who welcomed us to Lezzeno and showed us the entrance to La Corte Del Governo 565 up a small alleyway off the Main Street.
Once we were through the door we entered a lovely little court yard and were shown upstairs to our room.
The room was great, spacious, spotlessly clean with good fixtures and fittings.
Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of hot and cold food available.
Sylvia was a great hostess who went above and beyond to make our stay a fantastic time.

House was lovely, clean and well equipped. Perfect for two families with little children.
Bus stop right in front of the property. Jetty a few minutes walk away. Very convenient to get around with public transport which we did as we found driving around the lake a thrilling experience with the very narrow roads and tight parking.
Giusy was very helpful with information :)

A very pleasant hotel, view of the lake from the balcony is amazing. Also, an excellent terrace for breakfast with the most beautiful view in Tremezzo. The rooms are small and poorly equipped, but everything is very clean. The staff is friendly. Recommendation: take a room with a lake view on the 4th or 5th floor and ask for a room as far away from the elevator as possible.

Lezzeno is a sweet spot for Como Lake, close to Bellagio but not touristic, has a boat pier (this is mandatory), couple of restaurants and bars, a bank.. not much more but that's what you need to relax!

Although there are few nice views of Lake Como, I would not suggest that you stay in Lezzeno. There were no shops or restaurants nearby. Something closer to or in Bellagio would be more advisable. Lezzeno seems to be more of a residential area. Be sure to take a bus ride to Bellagio. There is a ferry ride which takes you from Bellagio to other little tourist towns and this was beautiful. An absolute highlight day! The views of the beautiful lake and mountainous backdrop was quite breathtaking. But beware - the bus ride on the very narrow and windy roads, are nerve wrecking!

Quaint and small.
Quaint and small. Probably need a car to move around but there are public transport options and taxis. Away from the busy areas but still close enough. Roads overall in Como are very narrow and require a bit of experience (especially as the locals will drive fast through them). Some restaurant options though we chose to eat in other places in Como. Overall I would probably chose Lezzeno again in the future

I loved Lezzeno. It was a nice quiet village atmosphere.
I loved Lezzeno. It was a nice quiet village atmosphere. The ferry was very close and there were plenty of little supermarkets to allow you to be very self sufficient.
Water taxi rides were only 10-15 minutes to Bellagio and the views from the property we stayed in in Lezzeno were spectacular.
A little remote from the main tourist centres but easy to access Bellagio via water taxi

We stayed in a fantastic house with the most beautiful view, great for family or friends get together with amazing kitchen & relax facilities. (all services, concierge, cook or cleaning available upon request). Lezzeno itself does not have much to offer and public transport or parking when you want to go to Bellagio, Mennagio or Como can be challenging, but advantage if you want to be away from mass tourism, this is the place to be

Lezzeno was the one ferry stop that was not overcrowded with visitors. It was nice to visit the other areas, and nice to come back to tranquility. The nearby market was at the bottom of the hill of our accommodation, and offered just what we needed. We loved a glass of wine on the balcony overlooking the lake each evening.
Linda and her father were so welcoming. The room was clean, the view was amazing from the balcony, the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, literally everything you need in the morning. The property is located about 10min drive from Bellagio where you can take a boat to other parts of the Lake, so practical! and there is another ferry port in Lezzeno as well. I could park my car in the garage and it was very safe. The property is really close (walking distance) to amazing restaurants and Linda explains everything when you arrive.
This apartment is wonderful and has everything you need to enjoy Lake Como. The view is incredible. It is away from the major tourist destinations but easily walkable to the ferries or to several restaurants (it’s downhill so you have to walk back up) and only a short drive to Bellagio. Having stayed at many vacation apartments, the hosts were among the most helpful always checking in to make sure everything was ok and providing contact info or websites and recommendations. We stayed with two young children and it was a wonderful stay.
Giovanni was a wonderful host. He spoke to us about his life in Italy, his career in Como, Lezzono, and so much else - a great conversationalist and a life well lived . Breakfast was delicious and filling- breads and coffee with fruit and meats were a good start to each morning. The bedroom was spacious, the bathroom very clean, and the balcony was lovely for star gazing. Would return without a second thought if we came back to Lake Como.
Beautiful hotel in stunning location. Clean and modern rooms, great beds. You must eat in the restaurant, all the food was delicious and very good prices. The staff were very kind and helpful when we asked about getting around. They also gave us great tables for breakfast and dinner overlooking the lake. Wish we could have stayed longer, it was a dream!
Absolutely adored my stay at this hotel! The immaculate cleanliness stood out immediately. Coupled with the spacious terrace offering breathtaking views, it was truly a delightful experience. What elevated the entire stay, however, was the exceptionally professional, attentive, and kind staff. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking a memorable stay.
The location was nice that it was not in the busiest tourist area. It was about a 1.5 mile walk to the ferry which for my husband and I was not bad. There were a few units that were empty around us, but the view was very nice. We did visit the nearby market and restaurant. All the staff were so helpful.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room had a balcony overlooking the lake. The hotel was quiet and it was comfortable for sleeping. The hotel also had a very good restaurant. The breakfast was very good. Parking was available on site without problems. The internet was dependable.
Sylvia was an excellent host and always ready to help, morning or evening. Our room was spacious and the location was close to Bellagio without Bellagio prices.
The dinner at the attached restaurant was delicious. I highly recommend Il Governo for anyone looking to stay at Lake Como.
It was a pleasant beginning of the holidays in Italy. Manuella is really very helpful and kind person. Answered to all our questions and more, she agreed for very late check in. The apartment are renovated. We found everything what is needed for comfortable vacations. Thank you.
The view from the balcony was gorgeous, and the room itself was very nice. In fact, I think the pictures really don't give the actual room justice! Good continental breakfast with fresh coffee, and an affordable and tasty restaurant if you wish to also have dinner at the hotel.
The pictures looked a lot nicer than the actual hotel. Transportations were really difficult. Really expensive for the quality we were receiving. There is absolutely nothing around the hotel. Did not love the location. The staff however were really nice
Breakfast: A rich offer, everyone will choose. Excellent coffee!
Lezzeno is not very attractive for tourists, so you will not meet crowds of tourists, the town lives its peaceful life.
The view from the apartments on the lake is absolutely unique.
The room was clean and spacious with a beautiful view of the lake. The breakfast buffet had lots of options and a great coffee machine. We took advantage of the different water sports available. The hotel restaurant served great food and drinks.
Good location to mini markets, lake, Cafe shop, bus stop, and restaurants. Jean-Pierre is an excellent host and takes very good care of guests. Highly recommended and wouldn't hesitate to book again.
Everything. Staff were friendly. Hotel is quaint with historic exterior, modern and clean interior. The views were amazing. Quiet area with small shops and restaurants close by.
Great location. Had two very nice restaurants and a boat rental place all within walking distance. Also just a short drive to Bellagio which we did for the day.
