All facilities were fine although on arrival I was told that the restaurant is no longer open in the evening. However the owner did tell me that I could book half board if I wanted to but with advance warning That did not fit in with my plans so I had dinner at a restaurant in Waimes nearby.

Good, clean, friendly hotel. Good restaurants, menus and cuisine. Fairly priced in comparison to other hotels in this popular area of Belgium. Definitely value for money.

Very friendly staff, they don't speak much English and my German is very poor but we figured things out between us. Very helpful, very welcoming, room was clean and modern
Cannot truthfully give one. That is not a negative review.
Cannot truthfully give one. That is not a negative review. We went to a nearby town to find a restaurant which was fine when we had a meal at 20.00hrs approximately. Although in Belgium the feel of the place was reminiscent of Germany. The clue is in the name I guess.

Very quiet small town, could be crowded during the tourist season. Good starding point to visit Hautes-Fagnes: many good walking (cycling) trails in nice moor open landscape. Car is appreciated to come to starting points. By the way you cana visit the highest point of Belgium (Signal de Botrange - 694 m). Family restaurant Brüls is a good choice for eating.

The lake and nature are great for picturesque walks.
The lake and nature are great for picturesque walks. We went off-season so there's was like nobody around us. All you could hear was birds! The 10km walk around the lake is well worth it. Nice views and cozy stops. Take a picnic with you because there's as good as nothing around to eat /drink.
The little town itself during off-season is very quiet. The weather was great but not a single terrace was open.
We stayed just one night as a stopover en route to Germany and it was wonderful. What a beautiful hotel with lovely, friendly staff! The decor & cleanliness were 5* & in such a beautiful picture-perfect setting. Plenty of places to eat, only a minute’s walk away & back to the hotel’s honesty bar for a nightcap! Breakfast was excellent - we were 2 adults, 4 kids and everyone was happy which is quite the achievement!!😉. Couldn’t have been more impressed with this hotel.
Very spacious room with very nice balcony with outside table & chairs; excellent shower and roomy bathroom; very clean, seemed to think of everything like water cooker, bottle opener, small refrigerator, etc. Lots of storage space for clothing, and a in-room safe for valuables. One of the best rooms at one of the best hotels we have ever had, and we are experienced travellers. Highly recommend!
The friendliness of the hosts! The accommodation which was super clean! And of course the great breakfast!
Also we were there with a baby and the host upgraded us to the little apartment downstairs to make sure we could move comfortably in the hotel!
We thank you very much for everything, God bless you! 🙏🏻
Actually this is very large sport park by a lake with many activities available. Scenery was perfect! For stay there is camping, vacation house, hotel (so called sport house). I stayed at the sport house. It is very clean and bathroom was big. For the money I spent it was absolutely worth.
Hotel is at the footsteps of the Vennbahn. Breakfast was enough and good. Great shower and decently sized room. Staff was very friendly in spite of the language barrier. You can safely store your bicycle in their garage
Excellent hotel, very comfortable beds, very clean despite ongoing renovations.
Fantastic food & wine. Top notch wellness facilities.
Great location, very quiet. Walking distance to the lake / Ravel bike path.
