We came for weekend to visit Hurricane Factory experience and Tatralandia Aquapark. Both attraction were very good, Hurricane factory was really awesome experience. Liptovsky Mikulas is a great place to stay; the town center...
Liptovsky Mikulas is a great place to stay; the town center is excellent, with a very famous church. All the central square is such a lovely place, and be sure to look for the program: they do outside free music evenings and concerts. Unexpectedly, we have enjoyed listening to a local (?) rock group music. It was great, and the guys made "a noise"! Several restaurants are about. The attractions for kids are plenty, such as an Illusions museum (worth to go!), or a roller coaster (worth to go!) and, of course, an aqua park (expensive but a great experience for those who likes). Supermarkets, gas stations, restaurants are well available. And, you are near the mountains with 10-20 min to reach multiple mountain attractions. And, our experience is that all the roads around are very good. We had no traffic jams, and could easily travel for 70-80 km around, this means reaching famous Slovakian attractions in the mountains: lakes, waterfalls, parks.MICHAELIsrael - 2.0Scored 2.0

Don't stay in Mikulas overnigh, better find something in Poprad district and visit TatraLandia, Chopok or Besenova by car. Services sucks miserably, they are in "Give me your money and go away..." mode.

Amazing town in the heart of Tatra mountains right between Low, West and High Tatras. Amazing climate in summer, gorgeous mountain views, green meadows. A lot of things to do outdoors and indoors. Main attractions are Tatralandia, Caves and snow slopes in the winter. Wonderful bike trail along the Vah river. Hundreds of trails around for hiking. This place is especially good if you love the nature and mountain hiking

Liptovsky Mikulas is at the base of the low Tatra mountains. It is very convenient to get to the mountains and caves that are close by. Although it's a small town, there is a lot to do and it's great for kids as well.

Town is an excellent starting point for winter skiing, summer swimming in Liptovska Mara lake, trekking in Low Tatras mountains or taking a trip to awesome High Tatras. Liptovsky Mikulas itself is not very exciting town for tourists but it is surrounded by hot spa pools, has beautiful views on mountains and you can find yummy food restaurants in there. We used Restaurant Taverna Liptovska Izba.

We had 2 single beds connected as we were travelling with a little child so the child was sleeping in the middle and it was safe for him as there was no gab between beds and beds were not sliding on the floor which we had many times in other hotels. Plus extremely nice and helpful owner :) Not far from the skibus (~4 min walk). Worth mentioning that this is the skibus from Liptovsky Mikulas so it runs less often than the main one from the parking which is 2 stops away.

There was a well-equipped shared kitchen. The interior of the building was very clean. There was a separate locked room for skiing equipment in the building, which included a ski boots dryer!
