It is a lovely site. A little basic in the restaurants but the beach and pools are fantastic. Rooms are a good size. In terms of value for money Palmera is unbeatable and a very relaxing weekend destination.

Ain sokhna is a 60 minute drive from Cairo on a very well-appointed highway. Its the best option for day trips. There is not any nightlife to speak of, but as a family-centric chill vacation, it cant be beat.

Great stay! The room was a good size with nice decor.
Great stay! The room was a good size with nice decor. In fact the whole place was nice and modern. We had breakfast and dinner included in the price and must say it was worth it. The hotel is just a short walk to a very nice private beach where there are other facilities such as a bar and washrooms. We had a room with a wonderful ocean view. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Sokhna is a perfect spot for short stay, as it's so close to Cairo, the weather is so warm and sunny in winter which make it perfect for this time of the year! The sea is safe, the water is clear and the weather is good and there's variety of hotels. The only problem that there's still some maintenance on the road. Overall love it and had a great trip :)

* There is no cert to review, to be honest, it's just your hotel or resort and there is nothing out of your stay property.
* The place is fine for relaxing and a sunny beach and the natural view are awesome.
Porto is very bad place for vacation I came here in 2018 I was able to go to the beach and swim in any pool this time every thing is belong to units owners I can’t believe even the beach they have to send you to the end of it because you not property owner you coming here to spend between 200-400 dollars a day but you fun is limited you have only one crowded pool to swim and the end of the beach .I will not recommend any one to come here .
Every thing was extremely nice. From reception till chech out. Thanks to the reception team very helpfull and generous. Mr Ramadan as usual is a key of the hotel if you want a star from heaven he will bring it to you. Food was not as usual but i think because not on season there was little number of guest. Beach and heated pool v v v nice. Room clean and animation team at morning and nigh. Really i enjoy alllll the day.
As usual the best hotel in Sokhna ever, thanks to full staff they are so friendly, helpful, supportive and decent, special thanks to Mr. Mostafa the Manager at the reception, great great great customer experience that I got from this man not once or twice, this great experience took place for the 6 or 7 times I've been there among the past 4-5 years
Great food, great rooms, great beach everything was perfect
Large two bedroom apartment with plenty of room and large beautiful pools. The breakfast and dinners were solid with both Western and Egyptian food that were perfectly sufficient for my kids and my wife and I. We also liked the idea that there was a small supermarket right in front of the hotel for anything we wanted.
I am comparing this Hotel with Movenpick Sokhna and Blue Ocean Hotel El Shokhna:
-Rooms Cleanness: Excellent
-Food is very good and much better than the above two mentioned Hotel. They have a very good Egyptian chief.
- Beach: Good to very Good. beach is better in Movenpick and Blue Ocean
- Staff: very friendly.
The porto sokna complex in itself is excellent… a relaxing place to be with your family or as a couple.. the complex is like a small city with groceries shops, gym, bowling, swimming suits shops etc. available.. there are also some good restaurants.. but our apartment room 31012 was in a really bad condition.
Very nice pool
Sandy Beach
Breakfast
Beautiful room
Small hotel. Everything is easily accessible no need to walk alot to reach restaurant, pool and beach.
Very close to Cairo. Around 1 hour.
Provided extra bed even without asking for it. I appreciated it.

Everything was perfect. We’ve had a great experience with Porto Sokhna beach resort. Their people are very professional, especially Mr. Islam from the reception crew. I strongly recommend them for your next vacation.
Food was really good. Nice options for veg and non veg. Good Egyptian style menu. Very close to beach but no water activities in this beach. Good to relax on your own.
Good hotel for relaxing in the beach
A perfect place for Snorkeling and fishing,in addition to sport activities (football, basketball and tennis courts opening all day long even at late night).
Clean spacious garden with a perfect view.
Mohamed Attia hotel front office receptionist was very helpful and supportive showed great customer satisfaction
2) Aqua Park was Amaizing

Staff was great and the hotel was OK. Some concerns about cleanness but this issue is to Egypt in general. Food OK and rooms was comfortable for this price.
