Not only did they offer to pick me up from the bus station but also made sure to help me organize a safari and to pick nice restaurants to eat at. If you want to visit Yala National Park do yourself a favor and stay there!!!!

Mailagama Cinnamon Residence features free WiFi and views of mountain in Sellakataragama. Featuring a concierge service, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Located next to a sea of green rice paddies, so the view from our room on the top floor was fantastic. The room was spacious, clean and all around excellent. They organized a good safari to Yala for us. Also, it was fun to go and take a look at actual cinnamon trees at the plantation nearby.

The host was incredibly friendly and helped us out with any matter we had and also organized an amazing safari for us. After we arrived he took us for a little bird tour, which was really nice. He treated us with a fresh coconut, fruits and little snacks. The hospitality was outstanding. The room and generally the whole property was clean and comfy. We felt really welcomed and enjoyed our stay! We can definitely recommend this awesome place! Thank you very much for everything, we will come back! :-)

Featuring a garden, Green Lake offers rooms in Tissamaharama, 2.2 km from Tissa Wewa. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. Very nice, very calm property. It is close to Debarawewa lake which I found more beautiful than Tissa Lake with the birds and water buffalos. The owner is very friendly and extremely helpful and he offered to take me to and from Bus station which is really nice. The homestay is approx 2 km from Tissa Lake, you can take a tuk tuk or the owner can help you with transport, for me I prefer to walk. They can also help you with booking Yala Safari It is a great value for money

Our time in this place was a genuinely beautiful experience. Equipped with binoculars, we enjoyed observing birds by the lake during the day. In the evening, the owner generously offered us a ride to a larger lake, where we had the opportunity to look at the bird nests and trees full of bats in the middle of the lake. The family was exceptionally helpful, providing us with delicious meals and engaging in friendly conversations. Additionally, they organised a memorable safari for us. We felt truly welcomed and embraced by their hospitality.

There is a 24-hour front desk at the property.... The staff are very friendly, they provided us with everything we needed and offered us papaya juice the moment we arrived. The lunch was amazing and delicious at a great price! Beautiful place with a beautiful view and garden, it was more than perfect, and I recommend everyone to stay at this place.

Very quiet a nice place. The rooms were clean and comfortamble. The personnel was very nice and also helpful. They arranged a trip to Yala Safari for good price. We drove early but we got breakfast takeaway. When we asked for dinner they prepared it. Also they recommended to us watching bats near the lake and drove us not only there but also to the next city.

Offering a restaurant and swimming pool, My Village is located just 900 metres from Tissa Wewa. Free WiFi access is available in the public areas and the rooms of the property. On our 21day visit to Sri Lanka, we wanted to spend Christmas eve in a nice location and Sujith and his team at My Village did not disappoint. My Village is a beautifully laid out property in a lovely environment with a nice outdoor dining area, clean and well maintained pool. We were provided with large rooms, comfy beds, large bathroom and the best hot shower we had for over 15days. Dinner was served freshly cooked, (fruit salad with ice cream was a highlight) and breakfast was equally well done with hot tea and a nice selection of breakfast food. Although we only stayed one night, we felt well rested. Thank you for a lovely stay.
