The location and building area really beautiful! Waking up to birds chirping outside the very traditional looking walls was wonderful. The house itself is old but it has been renovated beautifully. The shower and bathrooms are very nice and the set up is good.

The host is perfectly friendly and the total setting and furnishings are so warm and tasteful. There is even a real fireplace！Perfect place to stay in Karuizawa in winter to watch the snow and enjoy quietness. The place is a little far from the station and can be dark on the road ——yet allow me a great chance to look at the amazing starry sky. hope I can get back in summer next time:)

Clam and quiet atmosphere. We spent 2 nights with breakfast and it was really good. Service is beyond good. Provide drop/pick up service to the station. There is a park at the back and there is a beautiful view of mt asama. Food also really good. Wash rooms were very spacious and in very good condition. There was a Private toilet for the room. And every toilets in the building had washlet and it was very convenient. Host lady was very kind and pleasant. Overall it was a great experience. Highly recomended.
