Set 24 km from Volcano Atitlan, Una Noche Con Mical offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden. Great location - in the centre so super convenient but on a quiet side street. As a solo female traveler I felt safe in this neighbourhood. The terrace (full of beautiful plants) is wonderful and the view of the lake is magnificent. The room is basic and clean. I stayed in the king room that has direct access to the terrace. It is slightly more expensive than other rooms but comes with private bathroom. And having direct access to the terrace is a great bonus (makes it feel private as well :) ) The owner is around for any questions or advice if needed. Both him and his family are super nice and respect guests privacy. I highly recommend this hostel and would be happy to stay there again if I ever return to San Pedro.

Set in Santa Cruz La Laguna in the Solola region, Posada Del Viajero - Mayan Travelers Inn has a terrace and lake views. Owner is wonderful. So nice and kind. Pretty views of the lake. Large room and very clean. Great shower. Yummy breakfast. Hotel is up a large, sleep hill. Take a 10 Q tuk tuk to get there.

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Amankaya Atitlan is a recently renovated guest house located in Cerro de Oro, 18 km from Volcano Atitlan. The house was very spacious with a full kitchen for use. Would recommend stocking up on groceries prior to reaching the home. The view was stellar and the house was on a tranquil and serene portion of the lake.

The property was very safe, set back off the road. The room was big and the bed was comfortable, with a nice patio to sit out on in the evening. Host cooked a great breakfast and was very friendly, really enjoyed my stay here.

Lovely stay, friendly staff, nice quiet Mayan town on the lake away from tourist centres. Some good little hikes around. Wifi and hot water works, hammocks etc to chill in.

Karla and Jonathan were incredible hosts, so welcoming and responsive. Great value and location in town. Don't hesitate to stay here!!!

Very good hostel with friendly personnel, clear rooms, even with a pretty well furnished kitchen (which is a surprise for such a small cost). Even a good breafast is included.

Right in the middle of town so easy walk to everything. she made the family kitchen available so we could make tea when we wanted. could experience local life.
