As you fly into Abu Dhabi International Airport, it’s probably good to know that the vast array of streets with multiple names is best negotiated by landmarks rather than exact addresses. And you won’t be short of landmarks since this fast-growing metropolis is packed with tourist attractions.
The Sheikh Zayed Mosque is the 6th largest mosque in the world and is already open, nearing completion. Most buildings and public areas are on this grand scale, such as the 123 metre flagpole on Marina Island or the extensive Khalifa Park which, amongst other attractions, has its own train.
Along the aquamarine waters of the Persian Gulf lies the remarkable waterfront of Corniche, which offers a walkway along its entire 6 km. From here the modern Arabian skyline can be taken in and by night the scene is illuminated, creating an even more glorious spectacle.
However, shopping is really where it’s at in Abu Dhabi. Malls such as the Marina, Abu Dhabi and Al Wahda Malls provide a multitude of goods, endless boutique options and plentiful food halls. Stay at some of the finest 5-star hotels in buildings that literally scrape the sky or find more budget accommodations in this luxury city, with over 90 to choose from on Booking.com.

I visited Abu Dhabi because I came to the concert of Andre Rieu and decided to mix and see the local culture. Memorable event, memorable vacation. I was impressed about the venue Etihad Arena.
The cities offers a lot: visited Louvre, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Qasr Al Watan, National Aquarium, Sea World, Al Forsan International Sports Resort offers different sport activities from horse riding, shooting and many other activities. The city is unique and you have to come here at least once.
Since I came during Ramadan I tried local food at Iftar offered in a package by Yas Island.
What I liked the most as a single woman that I felt safe everywhere, hotel, in the taxi, restaurants. I can say I felt more safe than anywhere in Europe. The taxi is affordable for everyone that's why I did not use the buses. Was easy to get around the city and could visit few places in a day. Tips for travelers, get information, buy your tickets in advance from the local websites, many places have free entrances, you just need to book your ticked in advance, so you will avoid the queues.
Overall I liked a lot my trip to Abu Dhabi as was very well planned and I met politeness everywhere.

Abu Dhabi is lovely and so much calmer and more spacious than Dubai. As a female solo traveler I felt really comfortable walking and commuting in Abu Dhabi. The locals and people in general are also much more friendlier than Dubai. I appreciated the space in Abu Dhabi and there is over enough restaurants and shopping to indulge in as well.

This is definitely one of the best hotels in the world. It is very beautiful and comfortable inside. Everything is new and modern. The staff is always polite, and skillfuly helpful.
The view, the food and everything is at the top.
Good location near to Marina Mall.
The guests of the hotel all respectfull. Almost all of them are businessmen and very few children there.
The access to the swimming pools and to the beach is very comfortable with very interesting engineering desision.
The staff were exceptional. The chefs are doing an amazing job. All of the waitresses and waitors and bar staff were so kind and helpful. The household and receptionists were excellent and all made our stay so nice and relaxing.
Management needs to recognise the fantastic work of the staff in this hotel.
As mentioned above it is a shame that so many customers and families were so rude to the staff. This behaviour would not be tolerated in hotels in Europe. Sad to see this.
Nice spacious apartment with nice view
Check out was fast
I requested an early check in one day before but they told me to call the same day to check for availability ( they don’t offer to call you back like all the other hotels in the world) anyway they agreed although it was not with a smile and the lady in reception told me that they usually charge 200 aed but due to availability she will not charge ( lucky me !! )
so clean, spacious rooms, instant help from staff, super high quality staff. especially Ms Mary at reception was very professional, Ms Mabel from Housing Services saved my life by delivering a much needed adopter, and Ms Jonnalyn from cleaning for preparing for us such a clean room. Rotana is in general a great chain and this is one if the best hotels I stayed i Abu Dhabi
This is a hotel in the airport so don't expect something too fancy or with a good view :)
The room was clean and it is a very convenient hotel if you have a flight really in the morning. Otherwise I would not recommend it as there are much better hotels in Abu Dhabi for a better price.
There is a restaurant near the reception and several other food options nearby.
one of the best hotels in abu Dhabi the rooms are spacious, well maintained, there are a lot of restaurants, the staff are very welcoming qussey in the reception, the lady on the concierge they were so helpful, kind, and they Also celebrate my birthday and send cake to me!! just make my stay remarkable

we were made to feel like royalty.
thank you Conrad!!!
one of the best hotels in the world.
special mention to the front desk, concierge and Mr. Shetty.
for the extra special efforts through out our stay
Everything! The rooms were great with sea view. The toilets are HUGE! The private beach was really good. The receptionists Fathi, Amal and Carmen were just superb and our room attendant Prosper was very accommodating. All time fave hotel in Abu Dhabi!
This hotel is disrespectful and they charged me 20 euros to delay the check-out time, knowing that I left the hotel at 12 noon
They demanded that I pay the sum of 20 Euros due to the delay at 11 pm. Note that all hotels in the world check out at 1 pm
The room was clean and large. The bathroom was great, carpets were clean.
I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel compared to other hotels in Abu Dhabi.
- Housekeeping is excellent.
- Overall Staff are great
This is one of my favorite hotels in Abu Dhabi. The staff are always friendly and professional. The rooms are spacious . The hotel has great restaurants to choose from. It's all around great value for money.
The food was outstanding and fresh. You have plenty of healthy choices. Rooms were big and well-isolated from noises and the gym facility was one of the best that I have even seen in Abu Dhabi’s hotels
The hotel met our expectations to be a one-night base to attend a show in Abu Dhabi. The family room is big enough for a family of four. The staff was very helpful. Parking is right at the entrance.
Hotel was very good. Close to cheap airport shuttle A2 - walking distance even in the middle of night. Safety area. Rooms are huge and well equipped. Personnel is very nice, speaking fluent English.
The staff are very professional .
the room is clean and neat.
Parking is available and this is not common in downtown hotels.
so far this is the best 4 stars hotel I have stayed at in Abu Dhabi
very good hotel but a little bit updated considered the other hotels in the area
Very nice breakfast and dinner.
Perfect gym and swimming pool
The beach..mmm.
