We enjoyed the visit to Piatelli vineyard, a long way there.
We enjoyed the visit to Piatelli vineyard, a long way there. The place is beautiful, the visit excellent with their bilingual guide.
It is rather expensive in my opinion for what it is, and if stopping for a meal afterwards that was gorgeous, but very expensive.
CAFAYATE Town is lovely and very safe, plenty of restaurants, best empanadas at The Hornitas, recommended by a local person.

the only reason to go to Cafayate is the scenery and the wineries. Dining is either OK or very expensive at the high scale wineries. A visit to the goat farm was very interesting and the cheese tasting was delicious

Staying at the bodega hotel (In my case, el Porvenir) is highly recommended! Also, you can enjoy great lunch or dinner at lots of bodegas (El esteco, Piattelli, etc.) Please stay at least one night there and enjoy each bodega's unique wines. A one-day trip from Salta is too short. Don't miss this beauty!

Stunning town, we absolutely loved it here.
Stunning town, we absolutely loved it here. We walked everywhere, i highly recommend eating at the bodegas. Our favorite bodegas were Piatelli and Nanni, Esteco was nice too but a bit too pricey. The scenery is something I would come back for alone.
Piatelli had amazing food and so did bodega Nanni. El Ranco is good for dinner too and it’s on the main square.

Small but cute town with lots of restaurants and shops for tourists.
Many wineries are within the city and all is at walking distance. The further wineries are only 4 min drives from town.
Very clean and with plenty of options for all budgets. Ideal for wine and food lovers.
The hotel is beautiful, tranquil and maintained to a high standard. My colonial room was huge, quiet and very comfortable. The patio restaurant is very appealing, as are all the common areas, and the staff is very helpful and professional. Attached to the bodega, it is located on the edge of town so it’s a half hour walk to the centre.
Everything at this hotel was great! The rooms were clean, comfortable and very nicely appointed. The shared areas were beautiful and the staff was exceptionally kind. It is easy walking to everything in town and they have secured parking. They also accommodated a verrry early breakfast for us which was a very nice surprise.
Family run operation. Attentive and very kind staff. Beautiful property. Breakfast was great. Wish I had purchased the honey! Room enough for me to keep bike inside hotel room. Overall, wonderful stay. Would stay again :) *They had a great suggestion for a masseuse which came to the hotel!
The hotel has probably the best views in Cafayate. Many comfortable seating areas inside and outside. Spacious and clean rooms. Breakfast was good. Don’t let the fact that you can only reach the hotel via an unpaved road scare you. We had a small 2x4 car and it was perfectly doable.
This hotel is gorgeous…the vineyards, the pool and the room. We had a suite overlooking the pool and it was perfect. The front desk staff is among the best we have encountered…they helped with reservations and recommendations and really made our trip go smoothly.
A boutique 3 star hotel with a charming guest lounge - both indoor and out. Guests have access to the fridge in the kitchen which was fantastic. There is a beautiful garden with pool and outdoor seating. The host is very friendly and extremely helpful
Breakfast was ok. The location was quite far from Cafayate, with nothing around. But it was very nice. Booking should have warned in the description that it is 17 km away from the town in the middle of nowhere. However I liked the location
Great place to stay in Cafayate ideal for 4 people, the kitchen is a bit small but because of the lovely outside space it doesn't matter! Short walk to town and all the wine tasting!
Great host, provided tea, coffee and sweat treat!
This is a beautiful hotel which is very well cared for. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The whole place is charming and I wish we’d stayed longer. It was so peaceful here yet close to town. Also, the breakfast was great.
everything you need for your night in cafayate. we stayed there on our first night of the salta loop. even though we booked upon arriving in cafayate, we could directly enjoy the house. best value for money
Fantastic location in the centre of Cafayate, but SO quiet! The hosts were really friendly, absolutely charming. Really enjoyed the breakfast. Very cute little sausage dog! It exceeded our expectations
The hotel is nice, with its pool and views on vineyards next door. Our room was clean, with a big comfortable bed. It is walking distance to everything in Cafayate. Breakfast was pretty good.
The family that runs the hotel are not only very accommodating, but they are extremely nice. Felisa messaged me a few times after I left to make sure I was okay on my trip.
The hotel is extremely clean and the layout of very lovely. There is an inner courtyard, a beautiful living room to relax and the breakfast was excellent.
