I was 25 years ago the first time in La Rioja. The erosion did its job in the both provincies. The landscape in Talampaya and Ichigualasto changed a lot. But it was the nature... The friendliness of the people in La Rioja fortunately did not change. For me it is one MUST when you make trips in Argentina.

I stay 6 days in La Rioja. From there I organized trips to different areas. Travelers MUST visit Talampaya in La Rioja province and Ischigualasto (San Juan Province) those are the greatest places were you will see landscape and the fantastic earth evolution. "Valle de la Luna" was amazing. Land of dinosaurs from the triassic era. Absolutelly AMAZING! With two days in the city of La Rioja, it would be enough to tour the museum and relax. But you will need few more days to tour around, depending on your choice.

It is modern, with all the needed facilities included. The complimentary drinks were a nice touch, as well as the included breakfast. For us it was an oasis of rest and peace as we had been traveling for a lot of days and in La Rioja we actually had time to unwind and sleep in, in the comfort of the studio. Communication with the host was good and the location of the studio is just a few blocks from the city center.

Also of note was host Ricardo, who's really passionate about his city and region and goes out of his way to answer questions and ensure your stay is a good one.

The owner is such a very great friendly kind person, a wonderful host, he speak very good english. His place is in the city center, it’s very quiet, clean, comfortable, very fast stabile internet. I liked my stay a lot, I heartly recommend all travelers this accomodation and I would definitely stay there again when I’m back in La Rioja.
