The breakfast was really good. A lot to choose from and served in a nice and light area with a view on the Beagle channel. The bed was comfortable and I liked all the wood in the hotel. A nice and hot shower and good curtains to keep out the light.

Pictures do not do Ushuaia justice, and I had seen many pictures before. I could stay here and have plenty of options for things to do if my time allowed. We are already planning our return trip! Whether you love large areas of open water, alpine mountain scenes, wildlife viewing or local trinket shopping, it is all available here. Driving is an interesting experience with lots of hills and people who seem to drive as they wish, but once you adapt it isn't bad. Lots of places are closed for siesta/afternoon break (1-4 PM) so plan accordingly. Also, if renting a car be aware that there is a "Guarantia" that is separate from your normal rental fees and insurance that is charged to your credit card when you pick up your car. This was our first time renting a car in the country and were surprised when we found that we would have an extra charge of over $1000 USD to cover at the counter, just a heads up as guarantia is due at pickup and will be a $1000-1500 USD deposit on your card that doesn't show in your original booking.

Ushuaia is an amazing little city..it was so much bigger than we had expected! There are tons of souvenir shops, stores, restaurants, and tour operators in the area. The views of the mountains and the Beagle Channel span every where you look. It's breathtaking! It's a very walkable city as well.
Our favorite spots to eat were the Patagonia Brewery, Casimiro Bigua, Bodegon Fuenguino. Special shout out to Dublin Pub for some good drinks and fun ambiance!
We took a tour of the Beagle Channel and saw tons of wildlife. We also did a guided hike through Tierra del Fuego and rode the End of the World train. There's so much more to do there..we wish we had more time! Loved it all!

Ushuaia is a great place to visit.
Ushuaia is a great place to visit. We walked with the penguins tour with Piratour one day and hired a private driver with L&M Ushuaia Taxis another day to go to Tierre del Fuego. Both days were memorable. There is a great lamb restaurant on the main street with 3 lambs on a spit in the front window - the lamb was superb! Taxis are cheap and plentiful. very glad we visited Ushuaia - the end of the world!

The boat trip is well worth it…we got one where we did not get off the boat. This was sufficient and we still got very close to the penguins and sea lions who did not seem bothered by our presence.
Also a local guide for the National Park is recommended, ours was very knowledgeable and took us to the best places, he also gave us options of where we wanted to go and we could spend as much or as little time as possible.
Going to the Post Office at the end of world and sending a postcard from it was fun :)
I would say 3 days in Ushuaia is plenty but we were very lucky with the weather.
Also, just in case you need it, there are some good places to eat for Vegans 🌱 especially Isla Vegana
They were super friendly and also recommended good food places with vegan options for the evening … yaaay

The national park was spectacular.
The national park was spectacular. The food, off the main strip, was cheap and spectacular. The city is the port to Antarctica and Cape Horn is just outside the Beagle Channel. The people are kind and welcoming. It is a wonderful city with mountains in the backyard for hiking and climbing. It is a top knot h outdoors city.

The City of Ushuaia has its charm.
The City of Ushuaia has its charm. Yet the surrounding area was unbelievable. The taxista Raúl Medina (+54 9 2901 50 6867) showed me El Parque Nacional, the city of Ushiaia and drove me to the parking lot for Laguna Esmeralda. Visitors can contact him for his services. Along with the staff of Aionkenk Raúl made my visit one of my best vacations ever. The bar Santos on Maipú is a local watering hole and restaurants El Faro and Moustacchi had great food. The cruise on the Beagle Canal to the penguin rookery was grand!
Hosts Liliana and husband are extremely nice and accommodating. They helped us with ordering food, calling taxi services, drove us to the airport. Nicest couple! They definitely made our trip to Ushuaia a memorable one. Everything was perfect, the condo is nicely decorated giving a feel of a home rather then a hotel room. The views are spectacular from the apartment, like a postcard! The apartment is only a few minutes from the downtown. Highly recommend them! Best hosts ever!
We are regularly travelers. This wonderful apartment is on the top of our holiday rental. It has amazing view. A luxury hospitality. Two bedrooms are separated with own bathroom. Very quiet, very clean, very comfortable. We used laundry. Pretty much basic stuffs in the kitchen, cafe, tea, sugar, salt, and so on… Everything is new and in high quality. The landlord is very kind and pay attention via WhatsApp. We certainly have had wonderful time in Ushuaia.
Breakfast time is from 8 to 10 but if you need to leave earlier, they arrange small plate in the time that you need.
They do money exchange in very good rate(at least when I was there, it was one of the best from what I have seen in Argentina ).
Staff all kind.
I like privacy curtain in the bed.
View from the wind in the room is awesome. I could see los Andes.
There are two big Supermarkets within 3 mins walking
Quiet location just a short drive from everything. We had a car, so very convenient to get around. (Note: driving in Ushuaia city is not for the timid!) Very friendly owner and staff.
Rooms a little dated, but very clean.
Our room did smell a bit of old cigarette smoke, but may have just been due to the age of the facility. We were there for 5 nights and didn’t really notice it after awhile.
Awesome staff, Miriam, Gustavo and Gonzalo and great people who make us feel like home. They are very resourceful and attentive to all the details. Great eating, activities and hiking recommendations.
The hostel was very clean all the time.
The breakfast was abundant, good quality and great attention. The best we had in the whole Argentina!
Big rooms with views to the beagle channel.
I really liked this property location. It is in the center of all the best restaurants and tour companies. The most important museum is only a few blocks away.
The building looked like an old hotel, changed into an individual apartment. It has Ushuaia ambience. The quick response from the manager when something was missing from the property.
The room was well situated with a view of the harbor. The breakfast area was beautiful although the breakfast left a little to be desired. The hotel was basically in the middle of everything although you definitely need to get used to walking the hills because they are the standard for Ushuaia!
Lovely view of the Beagle Channel and the city of Ushuaia. Good Wi-Fi. Everything you need to cook. (electric stove). Drip coffee machine but no filters provided (paper towels maybe used to improvise a filter). Good water pressure (not always a given in Argentina).
Incredible view, in a quiet area. The family that runs the hotel are super friendly and helpful. More than happy to answer questions and book taxis. Great english and Spanish speaking. I would recommend to anyone visiting Ushuaia.
Small inn in Ushuaia, with great breakfast included and tea/coffee available all day, great location and good views. Very comfortable rooms. Very helpful staff. Comfortable large lounge area for everyone staying.
The staff were wonderful. It was about a 15 minute drive to the airport and a bit further to downtown. There is nothing near the hotel. They do have a shuttle to downtown, but we had mixed results with it.
The location was great. The host was very kind and helpful.
The apartment has everything needed to spend an amazing time in Ushuaia.
Heated floors and even a washing machine. Highly recommend!!!
Miguel is a fantastic host and made us feel as if we were at home. We loved the place and the way everything is organized. A true gem and great place to stay in Ushuaia!
Location is just perfect. Host (Gabi) was great and available and also helped her get a transportation from Ushuaia to El Calafate when Argentina had a major strike.
