It was our first time to Byron.

It was our first time to Byron. We loved the friendly welcoming nature of the locals, the diversity of the travellers and the cleanliness of the town. The restaurants and pubs had something for everyone, ample shopping options and great cafes. the beach was always pristine and clean. Beyond Byron we explored Lismore, Bangalow, Teven and Nimbin and loved everywhere we went, with equally welcoming locals.

Great Restaurants, shops and wine bars with amazing food.

Great Restaurants, shops and wine bars with amazing food. We ate at Bang Bang, modern Asian the first night beautiful setting, the best red duck curry we have ever had and fantastic service. There are a lot of Mexican, Asian and Japanese restaurants but something to suit everyone. We ate at Three Blue Ducks which was dissapointing and expensive. We took a hot air baloon flight over Byron Bay, everyone should do this it was perfect. Near by places to visit are Bangalow a charming village with an amzing bakery and great shops, only 15 min drive away.

Only stayed two nights, perhaps enough for elderly couple.

Only stayed two nights, perhaps enough for elderly couple. Good local shops, had reasonable meal at the Services Club. Nearly Xmas so very busy in town and on the beaches. Hard to park car , but walking around local shops easy. Glen Villa Caravan Park good location, and easy walk into town, albeit a bit expensive for our cabin.

Such a beautiful location and people are so warm and friendly. I wish the weather had been kinder however we still had lots of fun. Lots to see and do and will definitely be returning. Fishes Heads is a fabulous restaurant, Crystal Castle for a truly holistic experience, crystal sound bowls, including wonderful gardens, amazing variety of crystals, and a wonderful cafe. Take away from Indian restaurant Bombay to Bryon is great in case of bad weather. Great shopping, also fabulous markets, got a gorgeous thai take away $16 each and we were stuffed, also lovely juices, mango, passion fruit etc, and they were sublime. Great crystals also from Rose Crystal I think. Check out clothing stores though as they do vary in price, (some are dreaming with over inflated prices ;)

Location was ideal, not quite the centre of town but still close enough to all things Byron. Woolies is conveniently located a couple of doors down along with a number of other great food outlets and cafes. Accommodation was clean, tidy and stylish. Hotel smelled delicious with scented candles wafting through the air on arrival. Staff were very helpful and friendly and we especially appreciated how quiet the surroundings were while enjoying a sleep in the next morning. Would highly recommend.

Such a stunning property, the houses are close together in a complex but still feels private. Pool was right in the middle of all houses but still seemed very private with all the lush gardens. House was huge with luxury finishes, beds comfy and everything very clean. Close and easy walk to town. The rental company seemed pretty relaxed, easy booking process and not too over the top on rules like some holiday houses are.

Absolute paradise! We jut had the most amazing time here. Ocean views to Surfers Paradise, wrapped around the entire house, even from the spa! All the furnishings are new, gorgeous and luxurious. The whole house is so spacious and we had great dinners on the front deck and cocktails on the back patio. Plus, it's just a few minutes walk to the beach. We're definitely coming back.

Despite being small, it was modern, clean and well kept. It was close to Byron bay, only 10 minutes by foot. The cabins are very open, with a shaded outdoor seating area, plus communal areas to barbecue. There were laundry/toilet/shower facilities, which I didn’t use. Crockery and cutlery provided in cabins, sponges and washing up liquid in the dish washing area - just great!

I recently stayed at Discovery Park Byron Bay, and I must say, the location couldn't have been more convenient. It's just a short drive away from the central business district, making it easily accessible. One of the highlights of this park was the splash park, which was excellent.

Lovely location, short drive from the centre or cheap Uber. The villa was beautiful and very private. Value for money was unreal. The outdoor area and shower were a beautiful touch and Lachlan was a great, accomodating host. we will definitely be back for our next trip to Byron bay!

Loved my time at Wake up. Warm/welcoming staff, events in the evenings and our room was cleaned everyday. It felt like home and I met some wonderful people over my 7 days there. Perfect location in terms of relaxing on the beach with a book.

As a YHA member staying in YHA hostels, I always feel welcome and at home, I always prefer to stay at YHA hostels because of the inclusiveness and lack of Racism which other so called 5 star hotels offer.
