The whole area is beautiful, with many beautiful beaches, waterways and National Parks. Whether you want to swim, bushwalk, bird watch, get into photography, go boating, dive, explore, whale or dolphin watch, visit nearby islands or just simply relax, Nelson Bay/ Port Stephens Area is awesome. It has Great places to dine, my favourites Sirenas Seaside at d'Albora Marina, The Deck at Soldiers Point and Bubs Seafood also at the marina. My last holiday there, I really needed to relax. I had 9 days of perfect weather, ocean swimming, beach and bush walking everyday. Getting pampered at Sirene Spa Shoal Bay everyday, either with massages or sauna and spa.

Great selection of restaurants, cafes & bars within easy walking distance, particularly enjoyed Mavericks for the food, location overlooking the Marina and friendly staff. Large Woolworths to get all of your food for self-catering. Great local bus service to see the wider area plus ferry to Tea gardens and Dolphin cruises - what is not to like! The staff at the Tourist Information office were very helpful.

Nelson Bay is one of my favourite spots in the Australian coast so far, it is relaxing with beautiful beaches like One Mile Beach and Birubi Beach. There is good night life if you go to Shoal Bay and also good restaurants.

I visit Nelson Bay regularly for the last 26 years.
I visit Nelson Bay regularly for the last 26 years. It has become a very advanced tourist destination where people can find different options for entertainment and relaxation. The Port Stephens area in general, is beautiful and has many attractions, like dolphin and whale watching, game fishing or just recreational fishing from many good spots, sporting and adventure facilities and variety of accommodation for every budget. This time, I was more impressed by how green the area was, due to recent frequent rainfall.

Nelson Bay is a truly beautiful spot.
Nelson Bay is a truly beautiful spot. Some views must be among the most beautiful in the world. It is great for swimming, snorkelling, kayaking .... walking, cycling .... There are dolphin and whale watching tours and many other activities. There are many restaurants and cafes to choose from, some right on the water's edge.

Drive in park, lift is 20 feet away, step off lift walk straight into your room
Room, wow size area, balconies facilities as a whole were excellent, starting to look tired but serviceable and then I went upstairs,
hello nelson bay, omg 270 degree views, water landscape and a private spa, loved it.
As a family we all got to chill enjoy and catch up, couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Maps took us to the golf club instead of the resort and reception did not answer so took awhile to find the hotel. The staff were only going to give me 1 car park for a 3 bedroom apartment and after I queried it they gave me another spot. Apart from that they were great. We were there for a funeral so although they wanted to offer information regarding Nelsons Bay we were not there for that
We had a house in Nelson Bay for ten years so visited regularly from Sydney and very familiar with the area and the hotel. Haven't visited since we sold in 2012. So most impressed with the hotel renovations. Staff were great. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Restaurant full on a Thursday night out of holiday season - says it all!
Gorgeous location nestled between Nelson Bay and Shoal Bay, friendly and helpful staff, the cabin itself was updated, very clean and had everything we needed, amazing sunsets from Little Beach. Will definitely be making this a future family holiday destination. Thank you.
It was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and even more. The house is also well furnished and decorated. It was very close to shops and Beaches. Would go there again and again.🙂
Room was large and very nice. Clean and well appointed. Bed was very comfortable and the room spacious esp the balcony,
Very close to the marina and center of Nelson Bay and restaurants and shops. Short drive to Shoal Bay and other attractions.
everything. Great location and comfortable bed. The heated pool was very inviting and I am sorry that I never used it more, but due to the location we took the ferry to Tea Gardens and enjoyed the local Nelson Bay offerings.
Great location away from the busy areas, walking distance to beach. Quiet peaceful location surrounded by nature. Quick drive to Nelson Bay or Shoal Bay and discovered Boat Harbour and sat and watched the whales and dolphins.
Location was great, fabulous view of Nelson Bay Headlands. Close to shops and restaurants. Unit was comfortable and clean. A lot of nik naks around on shelves, so not sure how little kids would go staying on a family trip.
This was our second visit to Beaches Serviced Apartments and again it suited our needs perfectly. Within walking distance to Nelson Bay, Little Beach, Shoal Bay and surrounds. Quite location and very clean.
Tallean Hideaway is fresh, stylish and immaculate with so many thoughtful and unexpected extra touches. It’s a short walk and even shorter drive into beautiful Nelson Bay shopping, cafes and beaches.
We stayed in 3 bedroom unit 38. Well furnished and presented unit. Quite location and still close to town centre. Pool was good. Spacious and comfortable for a family of 6 people. Highly recommend.
Pet friendly, close to the beach and Nelson Bay city centre. Comfortable, beautifully furnished and well equiped! Enjoyed all the small added touches! Thank you! lovely place for a family to stay!
