Located in a very calm & peaceful location out of the main road and was very nearby to Port Fairy town / beach.
Check-in was very smooth (do inform them if you're going to check-in beyond 6 pm for them to place the instructions to check-in / key outside) and the staff were very pleasant.
Room was just as was displayed, with the bed being very comfortable (for a couple) and bathroom was very well thought about. Room was adequately stocked with all utensils needed for cooking and was spacious as well (for a couple).
There are DVD's which you can borrow from the reception, to watch via the DVD player placed in the room. Parking is right in front of the cabin as well.
Sofa, a dining table & 2 chairs tops it off, for a nice dinner spot and a tiny little TV to enjoy some TV action.

Port Fairy is a pretty little town. I loved the historic buildings especially the timber cottages. The town is obviously cherished by its inhabitants and pride is taken in its presentation and history. There are some great places to eat in Port Fairy.
We had hoped to do some walking along the path by the river and around Griffith island. My husband has Parkinson’s and uses a walker for balance. We did some walking but we’re limited because the path along the river is broken by stairs to the footbridge over the river and the start of the Griffith island path is wonderful but deteriorates to rough gravel. Port Fairy is a great place to visit - especially if you appreciate a very good golf course. The town has great historical interest and is well appointed for tourists. This part of Victoria is very exposed to the weather so the traveller needs to check the weather in advance and take clothes to suit.

Port fairy is a beautiful, quiet and very much upmarket town with excellent shops, cafes and one or two good looking restaurants. There are peaceful, interesting nature walks and a picturesque wharf and boardwalk.

We visited Port Fairy as part of a drive along the Great Ocean Road in November 2023. We really loved the place. Very walkable. We particularly enjoyed the waterfront along the Moyne River and the wildlife on Griffiths Island. Had a lovely and good value meal at Alexo Pizza and Bistro (and the robot waiter was a real novelty). My wife said the coffee and cake at the Mill (across the road from Alexo) was some of the best she had ever tasted. The East Beach was miles of glorious sand. Would have loved to stay longer, but we had to get to Hall’s Gap in the Grampians. We did stop at nearby Tower Hill on the way north, but didn’t really have time to do that justice. Can’t wait to visit again, but not sure when that will be as we live thousands of miles away in the UK.
So impressed with check in - received a lovely text and letter with instructions and recommendations. Such a personal touch! A lovely old building with great facilities, felt like a home. Port Fairy very charming - would recommend sunset walk to lighthouse.
Stayed in the coach house - spacious with 6 beds and enough room for bags, hope they don't add more beds as would be too crowded.
Loved the rural countryside atmosphere and cute cottage typical of Port Fairy.
The bed linen was crisp & fresh.
it’s perfect for families with kids as the playground is right outside the front door.
Better than a hotel or motel as it’s your place for your length of stay. Would have liked to have stayed longer, one night was too short.
Oscars Waterfront Boutique Hotel is superb with facilities that are clean, comfortable and so welcoming. The care and attention to detail within and around the Hotel and its rooms was well above our expectations. The Hotel's manager Andriana was very friendly and obliging. The breakfasts she prepared were so very tasty and filling.

The accommodation was in a a historic old Flour Mill. The building was beautiful. The amenities perfect. The location to town center awesome. Bonus was the location was on the river. Wonderful view from our rooms. We love Port Fairy and every thing we wanted to do and see was in walking distance.
Nice cosy room. Great shower. I liked having a separate kitchen sink for washing dishes instead of using the bathroom. The tv reception was poor but that could have been due to the constant wind. The room was extremely close to the Main Street with cafes, hotels and shopping.
Easy drive into centre of Port Fairy.
Access to Port Fairy Bay Beach.
Quiet location.
I had problems with one of the door locks. Estate Agent (Hearns staff member) arrived promptly and fixed it for me
Walk in shower has good water pressure and hot water
The location was good—-we could walk to town. Port Fairy was a nice town with beautiful flowers. Julia was very friendly and accommodating. The cottage had everything we needed and was clean. It was fun to feed the alpacas.
Great stay, received a wonderful warm welcome and were given information about the hotel and locality. BIG rooms, nicely kitted out bathroom, lovey building and well located. Would definitely stay again.
Staff were friendly, location was excellent - close to Griffiths Island and an easy stroll into the town of Port Fairy (which is a delightful place). The breakfast was absolutely delicious.
For 4 males on a golfing trip to Warrnambool and Port Fairy, the house is ideal. We stayed last year and would not hesitate to book the property in the future.
