It’s a nice historical place where it’s also convenient to board the ferry to Rottnest Island .
The Foods & Beverage scene is very vibrant , not just within Fremantle but also the neighbouring areas like Cottesloe .

Fremantle felt very safe, full of history and beautiful old buildings and loads of statues, flat and very accessible to all attractions. Plenty of pubs, coffee shops, eateries and restaurants to choose from. No need for a car. Ferry access to Rottnest Island only 30 mins away and we caught the ferry to Perth which was a lovely way to end our stay at Fremantle.

Fremantle has a warm, nostalgic place in my heart but over the years it has become decidedly tatty. Yes, it has history to offer but the general atmosphere in the town is one of cafés, eateries and non-descript shops offering uninteresting souveniers.
The Fremantle town council is badly in need of a strategy to create a town that serves the broader community beyond a place to drink coffee any time in the week

Lots of cafes and restaurants, food was great. Markets were amazing and worth visiting. The beach was small in Fremantle but very clean. There is a great atmosphere and it is very safe to walk around with good transport links to Perth.

Freemantle is a wonderful old town, which has retained its culture. We really enjoyed visiting the Round House (a former jail), for the info about it and the views!!!!!!
Also so easy to get to the port to go to Rottnest Island. The Quest is a 2 min walk from tbere, making it so accessible
Fantastic location, very close to Fremantle with it's amazing restaurants, cafes and beach. Apartment was clean and tastefully furnished. Breakfast on the east facing balcony was fabulous. Alison was a kind and accommodating host. We were very thankful not to be staying in a small, enclosed hotel room during the Perth 3 day COVID lockdown.
Nothing really wrong with the place, your typical b&b, charming, great location close to town and ferry terminal. Friendly service from the staff. The price however is out of range for the value, 2x than a business hotel and comparable to a 5 stars hotel in Perth, but with basic B&B facilities and services.
It was a pleasant stay in a good, branded hotel within inner Fremantle. the room was a good size and the neighbourhood good for exploring central Fremantle with the restaurant and bars. Staff at reception were pleasant and very accommodating, Easy walk to Train Station with luggage.
As advertised, a well-equipped and spacious 2BR apartment. Very private, yet right in the heart of Fremantle, a short walk from the waterfront, restaurants, bars, and the train station. Lots of street parking, if needed. Quiet, secure, and well-maintained building.
Good location on the river in North Fremantle. I received a different room from what I thought I had booked but it was well located within Pier 21, and had lovely view from my balcony. Found the car park spaces very tight and glad I wasn't driving a big car.
The hotel was in a great location, walking distance from places you would visit in Fremantle like Bather’s Beach, Fremantle Prison, Fremantle Market and more. Room was tastefully done up, not too big but more than enough space for us and a couple of luggages.
This gem is a labour of love for its owner, who has renovated an old building in the heart of Fremantle to a very high standard- reminiscent of a European hotel! Comfortable, love the little verandah and very easy to stay in for a while! Perfect!
The location is perfect. Fremantle is a gorgeous city, and being able to walk everywhere is exactly what we were wanting. As well, the older parts of the hotel have a lot of history. The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful.
Great location by the beach side, which my family walked along every day. Parking fees are reasonable (AUD15/day). Walking distance to most Fremantle points of interest (Fremantle market, little creatures brewery, some museums etc)
Beautiful historical building. Spacious rooms, very comfortable, nice extras in the room. I loved the historical books on Fremantle and Perth. The art around the building was a treat too.
Excellent location, close to all of Fremantle’s numerous dining options, and entertainment precinct. Easy, flexible check in sharing with Hougomont Hotel, with onsite paid parking.
Modern, clean and tidy room, and lots of character in the heritage building!
Walking distance to Fremantle beach and museums (but a bit of a sweat in the heat!)
