The Caloundra area is really nice. Many hotels to pick from.
The Caloundra area is really nice. Many hotels to pick from. Depending on what you're looking for.. i.e., Kings Beach is a happening area. Golden Beach is a little quieter. Places to visit are The Real Grocer, Cali Breeze for awesome burgers and fish and chips, and Amici's pizza (make reservations early when you know you want to go). The Amici Special pizza is the bomb! The RSL Club is nice to visit... loved the tribute to the military.

Caloundra has all the things tourists look for - bars, restaurants, markets, beaches and short distance to a wondrously green hinterland with all of its attractions as well. The city itself is clean and has great facilities. I even joined the local RSL as I will be back again and the member discounts are great, even for short stays. Everything you need in the city can be within walking distance, depending on your accommodation. I like to park the car and walk everywhere where possible.
Nothing. Staff were rude. Pool was out of use. I have never stayed in a hotel where I I’ve had to bring down my own rubbish. We were left with little to no toilet roll, shampoo or conditioner. We were advised to stop walking through reception. This is our first experience in Australia and we feel we’ve been taken advantage because we’re travelling. They’ve put us in such a bad position.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. Bus terminal was just around the corner and the main shopping street about 200 metres up the road and the beach about 50metres away. The apartment spacious and very comfortable as it poured with rain for quite some time while in Caloundra so we spent some time relaxing in the apartment.
It was fantastic that there was a fridge full of free food (I didn't eat any though, as I brought my own food & drinks with me - there was a refrigerator in our rooms). Free toiletries. Provided guests with bath mats. There was multiple showers & toilets (I didn't queue up). Netflix. Next to a shopping centre, & plenty of car parks nearby.
The facilities are great for the kids. The bar at the waterpark is a great touch for parents as well! The water was nice and warm at the waterpark as well and it felt safe for little ones. The music was a great touch that gave it a real holiday feel!! Easy to grab a coffee in the morning as well on the way to the playground with the kids.
The balcony views of Pumicestone Passage and the Glass house Mountains was superb.
The fact that there were enough clothes pegs for a full load of washing and a clothes horse to hang cloths on out on the back patio.
Central to Caloundra CBD and close to a major shopping centre was very handy.
Noise level on the 9th level was minimal.
The location is absolutely beautiful. Absolute waterfront with an amazing view from Golden Beach to the South and Kings Beach to the North. Direct access to the boardwalk from the unit.
The unit has had the living/dining and kitchen renovated and new carpet throughout.
Close to all conveniences this unit is in a prime position.
Location is perfect. Walking distance to Bulcock Beach and Golden Beach. Guzman Y Gomez and Woolworths is next door to the complex. Walking distance (approx 5-10 min ) to main street of Caloundra. Reception staff are always friendly and very accommodating. We always stay here when coming to Caloundra for a short stay.
While the apartment is far from new the location was amazing. It was right across the road from the lifesavers flagged swimming area at Kings Beach. We were able to sit on the balcony and watch the swimmers and the cargo ships travelling to and from Brisbane so close to shore. The apartment was very well equipped.
Clean studio room with comfortable king size bed, and plenty of dining utensils provided. A complimentary breakfast at the downstairs was superb. The location is great with restaurants on site and not far to walk to the Caloundra Promenade and many more cafes and restaurants. Highly recommended.
John was very helpful and assisted us with keeping cold food cold during period between check out and leaving Caloundra. The Unit was well placed, we enjoyed family time, having booked two units and the whole experience was very good. Thank you for looking after us so well.
Location as excellent, 100 meters from Kings Beach. You can walk along the boardwalk, you can also if inclined walk into Caloundra. Our apartment was on the 3rd floor with view of the ocean from the balcony, kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms.
The view was amazing. Beautiful views of Kings Beach right out to Bribie, Golden Beach and beyond. The Ocean and Islands in other direction. The ships passing through the channel gave us more to see. The night lights and sunsets are amazing.
location was fantastic! beach across the road, in the heart of Bulcock beach, lots of restaurants and cafes right outside the hotel. short walk to Caloundra district and markets. would stay agsin
Convenient location, great renovated modern unit close to Kings Beach and Caloundra. Clear instructions on how to enter the property in lieu of reception which was great.
Great location! We stay here when we are going to a show at the Event Centre - in fact we make sure we can book the hotel before we book the tickets to the show.
I have stayed many times at Aspect Caloundra and recommend it highly great pool/bbq area for families and close to beach and city centre. Staff are outstanding
