The Caloundra area is really nice. Many hotels to pick from.
The Caloundra area is really nice. Many hotels to pick from. Depending on what you're looking for.. i.e., Kings Beach is a happening area. Golden Beach is a little quieter. Places to visit are The Real Grocer, Cali Breeze for awesome burgers and fish and chips, and Amici's pizza (make reservations early when you know you want to go). The Amici Special pizza is the bomb! The RSL Club is nice to visit... loved the tribute to the military.

Caloundra has all the things tourists look for - bars, restaurants, markets, beaches and short distance to a wondrously green hinterland with all of its attractions as well. The city itself is clean and has great facilities. I even joined the local RSL as I will be back again and the member discounts are great, even for short stays. Everything you need in the city can be within walking distance, depending on your accommodation. I like to park the car and walk everywhere where possible.
Excellent location overlooking kings Beach foreshore. Lovely patrolled beach, free public pool and well appointed facilities. Comfortable room with usable balcony and wifi. Kitchenette was a useful addition. Breakfast was included at the cafe on the property, and although it only included a main dish, it was good well prepared and tasty. Plenty of other good dining options within a short walk. Local IGA was useful. Nice 15 - 20 minute boardwalk to Caloundra.
I found this property simply amazing. Couldn't reccomend it enough! All new, clean, beautifully decorated, comfy bed, a pristine and clear bathroom with natural light, walking distance to a major cafe strip. Fair honest price. Way much better than a number of hotels that I stayed in my many trips to Caloundra. The manager was really helpful and courteous. Don't hesitate: book it.
The first room we went into had no lockable security screens. Asked staff who promptly moved us next door still with an amazing view over the beach. Room was clean, tidy and presented well. My family had a great time and for the price I was not expecting much but the venue far exceeded my expectations, I can't think of anything we were missing out on for our family holiday.
The property was centrally located with short stroll to kings beach, Caloundra Main Street via beach board walk and restaurants.
The kitchen was so well stocked with all our needs I had to take a photo!
Beds comfortable showers were great. Spa bath just wonderful.
Lounge comfortable, plenty of games and jigsaw puzzles for any rainy day.
Very nice manager.
It was fantastic that there was a fridge full of free food (I didn't eat any though, as I brought my own food & drinks with me - there was a refrigerator in our rooms). Free toiletries. Provided guests with bath mats. There was multiple showers & toilets (I didn't queue up). Netflix. Next to a shopping centre, & plenty of car parks nearby.
Best location in Caloundra - close to the beach, park, restaurants, bottle shop and incredible pastry shop downstairs. Minutes to the main street. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. The facilities were great for families - beautiful big pool and spa, BBQ area, grassed area, gym etc. My daughter asked to stay for '100 weeks'!
Clean studio room with comfortable king size bed, and plenty of dining utensils provided. A complimentary breakfast at the downstairs was superb. The location is great with restaurants on site and not far to walk to the Caloundra Promenade and many more cafes and restaurants. Highly recommended.
Location is amazing right across from Kings Beach with great uninterrupted views out to sea. Short walk to town centre.
Good sized apartment.
Shawn helped us carry our bags up the stairs.
Two bathrooms
Salt and pepper provided.
I liked the position, not in the hustle and bustle of main Street Caloundra. My room had a great view, which was important for my stay. Having a Thai restaurant in the premises is a big bonus.
Very comfortable, homey unit. Loved the terrace access to the pool (first floor unit). Heated pool/spa very nice for a winter stay. Close to Caloundra Main Street and Kings Beach.
The Family Room is seperate with an own bathroom - it‘s cozy and there is everything you‘ll need. The location is near to the centre of caloundra. Only a walk of 15 minutes away.
The free coffee and muffins were an unexpected bonus which was lovely. We didn’t have the free coffee but the $3 mochas were very cheap. Rooms were very large and well laid out.
Location for our hotel was convenient and centrally located to access other areas of Caloundra. The rooms were spacious for 1-2 people and met every need for an overnight stay.
Hotel was well located for our purposes being within easy walking distance of the Coloundra indoor stadium. Kids loved the swimming pool and waterpark.
