Kalgan River Caravan Park is set upon 46 acres of wildlife refuge fronting Albany’s beautiful Kalgan River. Surrounded by magnificent gum trees as well as other native flora and wildlife, this is your chance to experience nature in all her glory. Kalgan River Caravan Park offers you a wide range of accommodation options from camping & powered sites (PLEASE NOTE, when booking tent or caravan sites, you are booking the vacant land to place your own tent, camper, caravan etc, on) to 1,2 & 3 bedroom, fully self-contained cottages. Clean amenities are provided including a Camp Kitchen, Laundry and Dump point. There's plenty to do at Kalgan River Chalets & Caravan Park. We are Albany's only river front caravan park that offers river, harbour and open water fishing from our privately accessed boat ramp. If you don't fish or swim, why not try a game or two on our 9 hole (3-4 par)golf course or tennis court. We allow pets to be brought into the park by guests only under strict rules to protect the wildlife as well as our other guests. Failure to follow the rules will result in a request to leave. Albany is full of history and historic buildings, galleries, shops, eateries, wineries etc. There are many tours available and may we suggest the Maron Farm if you like Maron. Their restaurant provides excellent food! Take a cruise down the Kalgan River or go Whale Watching.
