1770 Beach Accommodation is a family owned and operated business run by Richard and Jo, who took the plunge and took this business over in December 2023, after falling in love with the area on various holidays to the beautiful Agnes Water & 1770. We specialise in holiday property letting and are a buyer's advocate for Agnes Water & 1770. We hope that our guests fall in love with the area the way we did, and will always want to return.

Gorgeous holiday home in sunny, relaxing Agnes Water, that has just undergone a complete renovation, finished highly by the owner, with updated pictures of the listing to come. Merindah is situated within walking distance to the pristine five kilometre Agnes Water Surf Beach, shopping precinct, cafes & restaurants. A 6 minute drive to the beautiful and historic town of 1770, the birthplace of Queensland where Captain Cook landed all those years ago. Wi-Fi is available. Please note that Vodafone does not operate in the area and that phone coverage can be limited/patchy in Agnes Water/1770. Given the location of the house and the flora and fauna around the property, it is possible that some wildlife (bugs, lizards, frogs, birds) may frequent on the verandah and in garden areas.

Neighborhood info

The area is surrounded by National Parks, pristine waterways and long stretches of unspoiled beaches which front onto the Coral Sea. Along the headlands of Seventeen Seventy visitors are offered amazing panoramic views across Bustard Bay, the estuary & creeks. We enjoy an excellent year-round climate with Queensland’s northernmost surf beach at Agnes Water for surfing and beach activities. A long the Bay at 1770 you can walk along the parklands and enjoy kayaking, fishing and paddle boarding. It is a short walk to the variety of cafes & boutique shops in the Agnes Water shopping Village or walk down to the beautiful Agnes Water surf beach for a leisurely day along the water. A vibrant market takes places between Agnes Water & 1770 every second Sunday morning.
