It was our first time to Byron. We loved the friendly welcoming nature of the locals, the diversity of the travellers and the cleanliness of the town. The restaurants and pubs had something for everyone, ample shopping options and great cafes. the beach was always pristine and clean.
Beyond Byron we explored Lismore, Bangalow, Teven and Nimbin and loved everywhere we went, with equally welcoming locals.

Such a beautiful location and people are so warm and friendly. I wish the weather had been kinder however we still had lots of fun. Lots to see and do and will definitely be returning. Fishes Heads is a fabulous restaurant, Crystal Castle for a truly holistic experience, crystal sound bowls, including wonderful gardens, amazing variety of crystals, and a wonderful cafe. Take away from Indian restaurant Bombay to Bryon is great in case of bad weather. Great shopping, also fabulous markets, got a gorgeous thai take away $16 each and we were stuffed, also lovely juices, mango, passion fruit etc, and they were sublime. Great crystals also from Rose Crystal I think. Check out clothing stores though as they do vary in price, (some are dreaming with over inflated prices ;)
It was right on the beach..my first to Byron Bay. COULD hear the waves and birds..delightful. walking distance ..right in town. Unit was perfect, comfortable, clean and spacious. Everything about Aloha Byron Bay is first class. The welcome, the quality of the house and apartments, the attention to detail to ensure you don't want for anything during your stay. Nicky and her team are wonderful and warm. We didn't want to leave. So roomy and classy. Everyone had their own room and many had ensuites. The spacious beautiful property is the best.
Close proximity to beach with a wonderful little trail to Wategos beach. Me and my family of 10 including grandkids had a great time surfing and swimming, with the luxury of coming back home to amazing views, jacuzzi and sunset drinks on the deck. Not to mention how comfortable and spacious this lovely home is. I’m looking forward to making this an annual trip.
Beautiful, spacious house. Very comfortable and well-equipped. Everything was attractively laid out with thoughtful and elegant design. Beds and sheets were good. Nice pool. Great location, just a block and a half from the many shops and restaurants. A pleasant, 10 minute walk to the beach.
Charming hotel with few rooms so very quiet and perfect to relax. Perfect location too ! Just a few step to the Watego beach and 15min away walking distance from the lighthouse to appreciate the sunrise.

Amazing outdoor areas and two lounge areas. Will definitely be staying here again.
We stayed 3 nights in a ground floor room, it was a perfect location, the room was very spacious and clean and the staff were gracious and welcoming.
It’s a lovely hotel with the bar next door, which has the Byron bay vibe, which we loved.
The location was excellent - right on the beach. The staff was lovely, and very attentive from check in. We also received a complimentary wine/beer voucher for 2 at the Beach hotel pub next door which was great, and got 10% off dinner too.
The house was in walking range to almost everything. We enjoyed the room as it felt very at home. The shared spaces were nice aswell. We were also happy about being offered early check-in, due to cleaning being completed ahead of time.
We enjoyed the location and being away from schoolies. The proximity to clark’s beach and other surrounding beaches was perfect.
Staff was excellent and accomodated our request to find an outlet to charge our rented E-Bikes.
Barbara's guesthouse was so lovely to stay in. Very clean and the perfect launching place for exploring Byron Bay. It was within walking distance of everything! Had all the amenities you'd need in the kitchen too.
Location is good right in the middle of cafes and restaurants. Close proximity to Main beach, love that the hotel is pet friendly and they provide the bed and food/water bowl in the room! The bed was really comfy.
Excellent location close to beautiful Belongil beach. Set back from the beach and secure. Lovely tree-house feel with lots of breeze. Great responsive service from Luxury Escape team.
The house was beautiful. The photos do not do a justice to the property. Owner was incredibly nice. I will be looking at staying here again if I return to Byron Bay!
The housekeeping is impressive as I own a cleaning business and was impressed as I have a keen eye and the cabins were cosy and being on the lake is calming
