Such a different holiday for my grandsons, they loved every minute. Feeding bread to cattle and horses a bonus. First time horse riding and now they want a horse! Loved the chance to practise their tennis and meet other children. Breakfast really great. Staff lovely.

Horse riding and water sports await at Susan River Homestead Adventure Resort, set on 1600 acres with a private lake at its center. Facilities include a swimming pool, 2 tennis courts and a volleyball court. Susan River Homestead is a 25-minute drive from Hervey Bay Airport and free airport transfers are provided. Hervey Bay town center is a 20-minute drive away. All rooms are air-conditioned and each has a private bathroom. Tea/coffee making facilities are provided, along with bed linen, towels and a flat-screen TV. WiFi is available in the reception area. Guests can try water skiing and wakeboarding on the lake or horse riding under the moonlight. There is also a trampoline, cinema room and games room with billiards. The tour desk can arrange trips to Fraser Island and whale watching tours.
