We stayed in Hervey Bay for two weeks this time for the first time. Unfortunately we could only get a week in each of two places. We have made the trip to Hervey Bay many times and stayed in different types of accommodations from Motels, a house and now resorts. Have driven from one end to the other many times and I love it all. I Have loved staying at the Mantra the best as it has a lot of conveniences in walking distance and the shopping center is not far, by car, if you want to dine in your unit. We did drive to the other end to the RSL for the special deal meal nights. The staff have been wonderful in all places we have visited.

Loved friendly inviting atmosphere, high end food cafes, so picturesque along the esplanade. There was so much to do and so many choices for families especially The Pier walk and Aquarium. Good variety of shops and easy access! Loved Eat at the Bay Cafe and The Beach motel for amazing food!!

Hervey Bay is a nice relaxing place to visit for a few days, but I wouldn't stay there long term as it will get a bit boring after a while. Having said that, it makes a good base for visiting nearby towns such as Bundaberg.

Nice area but didn’t get to see everything as main reason for staying there was to do Fraser Island trip. The day tours was interesting and glad we went. Only downside was a lot of time is spent on the tour bus.

Hervey Bay was surprisingly big.
Hervey Bay was surprisingly big. This meant all the 'name' shops were represented so we could buy what we would also find in bigger cities.
But it still had the feel of a seaside tourist resort.
The weather is prefect year round. Temperatures mid to late 20s at night were the lowest and only early 30's maximum high during the day.
People are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed
Excellent reception, very friendly and helpful with directions around Hervey Bay.
2 bedroom apartment opposite Shelly Bay and very spacious.
Scrumptiously clean, new bathroom, kitchen minimalist but everything that’s needed.
Furniture comfortable however a little worn.
Plenty of parking.
In the centre of the Hervey Bay, great walks along the esplanade.
Close to shops and eateries.
Quiet, but is dependant on the other guests that stay.
Would stay again.
Perfect position, close to beach, restaurants, shops, not too far from Hervey Bay Airport. Our Apartment was on the 4th floor facing the Beach. Apartment very spacious, plenty of room for families, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, separate lounge areas, 2 bedrooms Master had private verandah. Tennis court, pool with Spa, this was perfect for us, as a family.
The room had fabulous views over the marina. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The spa bath was a wonderful way to rewind and end the day. The Mantra is in a great location within very easy walking distance to restaurants and the boat club. This is why I always choose the Mantra when staying in Hervey Bay!
We will be back next time we’re in Hervey Bay.
I liked little details like extra pillows and blankets in the wardrobe, ability to log into Netflix on the tv and an old fashioned hotel room folder with information about the hotel and surroundings. Also, heaps of parking and right across the road from the beach.
The host was lovely and helpful and allowed our small house trained fur baby to stay when alot of places in Hervey Bay wouldn't allow it. Bed was very comfortable. Nice linen and decor. Very clean. Property not too far to the esplanade and in a nice quiet street.
This is the second time we have stayed in this property. I have no hesitation in recommending it to friends and family in fact I already have and they are booking. It's quiet, clean, spacious, well equiped and not to mention great value.
Hotel has a great location, near restaurants and clubs and easy access to tour boats. Room by the pool was great, could slip into the warm pool anytime. Handy BBQs for cooking local fish and dinner generally.
Very well priced apartments in the best location for Hervey Bay but what really stands out is the staff and their quality of service. Well and truly above and beyond especially during the busiest season.
Everything, Peter and Susan were amazing and their house was so welcoming!
Would literally recommend this to anyone staying in Hervey Bay that likes a home-like hotel/motel and enjoys the company.
excellent accommodation on Esplanade..close to restaurants/shops/beach..quiet rooms...comfortable beds & room was very clean...walking distance to pub & other restaurants
