Superb location.
Superb location. Beaches with warm water (26C) in March to make swimming inviting. Restaurants & shops in Hastings Street with plenty of variety of each. Saturday morning at Eumundi markets which is always good value. Spent lunch at Bistro C overlooking the main beach & dinner one night at Embassy XO at Sunshine Beach which was excellent. Took a 1.5hr walk up to the Heads & back & saw some turtles & a Manta Ray. Good exercise.

One of the most beautiful places I have visited. Beautiful beach surrounded by magnificent national park. The town is very pretty with lots of cool shops, bars and restaurants. A bit pricey but not unexpected in such an upscale area.

The hill is a bit stiff when coming back from the beach on foot but one can always take the bus, it’s just one stop/5mn away and free on weekends. Pool area, even if a bit small, was very well-maintained. Our unit was decorated in a clean, modern style, very suitable to the tropical climate. A 3 minute drive to Coles or a 10 minute walk. Buses on opposite side of the road, absolutely brilliant. Secure parking under hotel. We booked 5 nights stayed 8. Full kitchen. Dining, lounge, washing machine and dryer, everything you need. Small outside area with table and chairs. Air con. Ceiling fans. Staff great. Very helpful. We will be back.

We had a ground floor apartment and was perfect for easy access to the pool and beach. There are some stairs from apartment to pathway so be aware if brining pram or need accessibility. I read reviews online that the ground floor rooms hadn't been refurbished but I thought the room we had (#14) was lovely and modern. A little dusty in areas but nothing extreme!

The staff were friendly and very accommodating to your needs. The hotel itself had a really great vibe to it with everyone being respectful. The pool was heated to the perfect temperature where you could even enjoy it when there was a little bit of rain.
