A vibrant bustling, noisy city with much to see and enjoy.
A vibrant bustling, noisy city with much to see and enjoy. Some very decent restaurants and the city is easy to get around thanks to the thousands of tuk tuks and cycle rickshaw. Beware the traffic jams though! And to get away from the noise take a trip to the tranquil botanical gardens.

Dhaka!
Dhaka!
Traffic has eased slightly from earlier, as several new flyovers have been commissioned.
Expressways are open, Metrorail services are running, but noise pollution remains the same

As a native of this bustling city, Dhaka's charm lies in its unapologetic chaos. For those unfamiliar, the initial encounter with the city's bustling streets and animated markets might be perplexing. However, once you acclimate to the rhythm of Dhaka, you'll find an unparalleled vibrancy that outshines the orderliness of more structured cities worldwide.
Dhaka is a haven for those who thrive in the midst of disorder, a realm where unpredictability fuels an exhilarating experience. It's not a destination for those seeking spoon-feeding or stringent organization. Instead, it beckons to those who revel in the unexpected, offering a unique tapestry of culture, commerce, and commotion. In Dhaka, chaos isn't a flaw but a defining feature, making it a must-visit for those who dare to embrace the unpredictable and find beauty in the midst of disorder.
One undeniable allure of Dhaka for visitors from around the globe is the remarkably affordable cost of living. In this vibrant city, most individuals will find that things are not just reasonably priced but extraordinarily cheap. Whether it's indulging in local cuisine, navigating the bustling markets, or exploring the rich tapestry of cultural experiences, Dhaka caters to budget-conscious travelers, providing an opportunity to stretch your dollar further than in many other destinations.
From street food to transportation, the city's affordability opens doors for exploration without breaking the bank. For those seeking an adventure without a hefty price tag, Dhaka stands out as a budget traveler's paradise, offering an array of experiences that won't dent your wallet.

Given that the average income in Bangladesh is significantly lower than Western standards, it's challenging for the typical person to cover their expenses. Bangladeshi people are generally hardworking and, for the most part, very honest. However, when interacting with small shop owners, especially when dealing with foreigners, they may occasionally inflate their prices. This practice isn't common in larger stores or malls.
I've developed a deep appreciation for the people of Bangladesh, particularly those in the villages compared to those in the cities. There are truly beautiful sights to behold in this country as well.

Dhaka is the captial of Bangladesh with 40 million populations. There is alwasy the traffice on the road, no matter whenever it is. Passengers and vehicles are crowded over the road. Living cost is bit high since the grocery price is high compared to the GDP, but hotel room rate is okay.

Dhaka is a vibrant and bustling city with a rich history and culture. From the colorful rickshaws to the aromatic street food, there's always something to discover in this city. The people are friendly and welcoming, and the architecture is a mix of old and new styles. However, the traffic in Dhaka can be overwhelming, and pollution is a major issue. If you can handle the chaos, it's definitely worth exploring the many museums, markets, and historic sites that this city has to offer. Overall, Dhaka is a unique and fascinating city that is sure to leave a lasting impression on any visitor.
Togehter with my wife, we had a 4 night stay at this hotel in Dhaka. From the beginning it was a quite warm welcoming atmosphere, completely friendly staff, always there for any questions. Especially some kind complimentaries during our stay were very great and we highly appreciate it. We also had some dinner in their own restaurant, which was a quite, clean and tasty atmosphere. Rooms were also comfortable and spacious. All in all a great and relaxing stay and a very well chosen option in this active city of Dhaka!
The best thing about the hotel is it's location. You can easily access most of the places in and around banani and Gulshan, if that's your main area of concern. The rooms are relatively clean, well kept. The staff is polite, well behaved, could maybe work on their demeanour a lil bit. The breakfast was alright. Overall a comfortable stay. One of the best budget friendly and we'll located property in banani.
The breakfast was good. They do have a cafe in the second floor. The best and worst part is the location of the hotel. It's very close to the airport which is great. But the traffic to and from the hotel to any other places are very congested.
Hotel staffs are all very polite and respectful. They do have a free shuttle service for the hotel to airport (and vice versa). Which I think was amazing.
What stood out most was the always helpful and friendly staff. I have not experienced this level of care and attentiveness anywhere else before. They really make you feel safe and comfortable.
The hotel is centrally located in the commercial heart of the city. Our room was clean and cozy and the breakfast buffet had many options and was delicious.
I would most definitely stay there again.
The location of the hotel is the best part as its in a quiet residential area yet within walking distance from main areas i.e. Gulshan 2 and Banani market areas. Good restaurants n cafes are also within walking distance. This is the USP of this hotel and difficult to find elsewhere in a densely populated chaotic city such as Dhaka
I travel to Dhaka for work three times a year from Rangpur and have stayed at the Hotel Afford Inn on each trip. It is a great location, close to the airport, and the hotel provides a car for pick-up. The staff is friendly and the price is reasonable. I highly recommend the Hotel Afford Inn
Located near to the Dhaka airport
Had good eateries available nearby
The staff were courteous and helped me throughout my stay
As I was in a hurry to reach and my cab was getting late to reach, the hotel management sent their own car to drop me at airport that too without any charges
Service and hospitality from airport pick up until the end of my stay at Hotel 71 was excellent. All staff are very friendly. Hotel facilities as 3star hotel are outstanding. Overall....everything was nice and smooth.
Will come again...InshAllah on my next visit to Dhaka.
Thanks.
I have been to Dhaka five times and this by far the best hotel I have ever stayed. It is on a quiet tree lined street. The service is the most thoughtful and lovely. They have a great pool. Rooms are really comfortable and elegant. The food in the restaurant is really good too!
Really comfortable bed and pillow. Real coffee from beans for breakfast, unlike most hotels in Dhaka that serve only Nescafe. The gym was nice but too hot (temperature set to 27 degrees), I wish I could regulate the AC when using the gym. Breakfast was tasty.
I stayed at this hotel for two days, and it was really good. It's near the airport and very quiet. The place is very clean, and the staff are really helpful. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice and peaceful place to stay.
Very nice made to order breakfast, perfect location in DHAKA as there is no thru road in front of the Hotel, just the lake, polite and smiling staff that are very helpful including the Security guards, I really enjoyed my stay.
The staff were professional and helpful, the design of the hotel was very nice and good value for money, i will be coming back in the near future, i recommend this hotel for any family looking for a short stay in dhaka city
It's a great hotel right by the airport. I've been to this hotel on my past two visits to Dhaka. The rooms and facilities are excellent. They even provide a shuttle service. The place is clean, and the staff is fantastic.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, among them sumon, who helped me arrange a riksha to Old Dhaka. The rooftop restaurant was quite good and offered some nice local dishes. Thanks hotel prime inn
Super hotel near airport and friendly and serious people good food.So manager’s women Fatema is a nice person and I was happy to meet her. I recommend every foreigner to stay there.
Nice hotel to live, near to the international airport. close to Japan embassy. Shopping mall and restaurants are 1-2 minutes walking distance. good and cool staffs
Good location in the heart of Dhaka. Good breakfast with Bangladeshi food. The room was clean. Very helpful and well-manared staff. Good value for money.
