A vibrant bustling, noisy city with much to see and enjoy.
A vibrant bustling, noisy city with much to see and enjoy. Some very decent restaurants and the city is easy to get around thanks to the thousands of tuk tuks and cycle rickshaw. Beware the traffic jams though! And to get away from the noise take a trip to the tranquil botanical gardens.

Dhaka!
Dhaka!
Traffic has eased slightly from earlier, as several new flyovers have been commissioned.
Expressways are open, Metrorail services are running, but noise pollution remains the same

As a native of this bustling city, Dhaka's charm lies in its unapologetic chaos. For those unfamiliar, the initial encounter with the city's bustling streets and animated markets might be perplexing. However, once you acclimate to the rhythm of Dhaka, you'll find an unparalleled vibrancy that outshines the orderliness of more structured cities worldwide.
Dhaka is a haven for those who thrive in the midst of disorder, a realm where unpredictability fuels an exhilarating experience. It's not a destination for those seeking spoon-feeding or stringent organization. Instead, it beckons to those who revel in the unexpected, offering a unique tapestry of culture, commerce, and commotion. In Dhaka, chaos isn't a flaw but a defining feature, making it a must-visit for those who dare to embrace the unpredictable and find beauty in the midst of disorder.
One undeniable allure of Dhaka for visitors from around the globe is the remarkably affordable cost of living. In this vibrant city, most individuals will find that things are not just reasonably priced but extraordinarily cheap. Whether it's indulging in local cuisine, navigating the bustling markets, or exploring the rich tapestry of cultural experiences, Dhaka caters to budget-conscious travelers, providing an opportunity to stretch your dollar further than in many other destinations.
From street food to transportation, the city's affordability opens doors for exploration without breaking the bank. For those seeking an adventure without a hefty price tag, Dhaka stands out as a budget traveler's paradise, offering an array of experiences that won't dent your wallet.

Given that the average income in Bangladesh is significantly lower than Western standards, it's challenging for the typical person to cover their expenses. Bangladeshi people are generally hardworking and, for the most part, very honest. However, when interacting with small shop owners, especially when dealing with foreigners, they may occasionally inflate their prices. This practice isn't common in larger stores or malls.
I've developed a deep appreciation for the people of Bangladesh, particularly those in the villages compared to those in the cities. There are truly beautiful sights to behold in this country as well.

Dhaka is the captial of Bangladesh with 40 million populations. There is alwasy the traffice on the road, no matter whenever it is. Passengers and vehicles are crowded over the road. Living cost is bit high since the grocery price is high compared to the GDP, but hotel room rate is okay.

Dhaka is a vibrant and bustling city with a rich history and culture. From the colorful rickshaws to the aromatic street food, there's always something to discover in this city. The people are friendly and welcoming, and the architecture is a mix of old and new styles. However, the traffic in Dhaka can be overwhelming, and pollution is a major issue. If you can handle the chaos, it's definitely worth exploring the many museums, markets, and historic sites that this city has to offer. Overall, Dhaka is a unique and fascinating city that is sure to leave a lasting impression on any visitor.
The location of the property was very convenient. It is just 0.5 km away for Kamalapur rail station, which is the main rail station of Dhaka. The hotel is having a restaurant at the top floor, which serves delicious food. The 'Doi-ilish', which was served to us, was the best Hilsa preparation I ever had in my life. One can enjoy a good view of Dhaka city from the restaurant. The behaviour of hotel staffs were very pleasant. They all were co-operative. On the day of Departure, they prepared breakfast for us even in very early morning.
The check in staff was rude. I booked a stay with booking.com when I got to hotel they said there was no such reservation and wanted to put 4 adults in one room when I booked 2 rooms and had confirmations yet they are so dumb and tried to put 4 of us in 1 room with a female with us. That was really bad idea. So we had to leave after wasting so much time. Never again staying at this hotel or recommending anyone. It’s a joke kinda hotel. I have so many ppl that pass by Dhaka definitely telling them to stay away from this shit hole.
The breakfast was good. They do have a cafe in the second floor. The best and worst part is the location of the hotel. It's very close to the airport which is great. But the traffic to and from the hotel to any other places are very congested.
Hotel staffs are all very polite and respectful. They do have a free shuttle service for the hotel to airport (and vice versa). Which I think was amazing.
I would like booking.com to be professional.
The property booked was at this particular location: Diplomatic Zone, 27 Park Rd, Dhaka 1212, Bangladesh.
Upon reaching this place it was informed by the Hotel manager that the booking done was at the location: Society, House#17, Road#1, Block#B Niketon Housing, Dhaka 1212, Bangladesh.
first time for me in Dhaka. the hôtel is cosy, clean and well situated. AC and internet connection work very well.
Ali and his employees are friendly.
all sightseeing is within walking distance plus the bus station and port.
it’s a good place for feeling the old Dhaka spirit.
Good report quality cost
Service and hospitality from airport pick up until the end of my stay at Hotel 71 was excellent. All staff are very friendly. Hotel facilities as 3star hotel are outstanding. Overall....everything was nice and smooth.
Will come again...InshAllah on my next visit to Dhaka.
Thanks.
I have been to Dhaka five times and this by far the best hotel I have ever stayed. It is on a quiet tree lined street. The service is the most thoughtful and lovely. They have a great pool. Rooms are really comfortable and elegant. The food in the restaurant is really good too!
After some awful hotels in Bangladesh, it was nice to see the staff try hard to treat you as a guest rather than a moron. The breakfast included was pretty damn good. The option of a carpeted room was also a nice change from always feeling you're sleeping in a tiled bathroom.
Wonderful, helpful staff. Helped me with my luggage and arranged me a taxi to the airport. Food was good and the room was perfect and comfy with a balcony included. Only 10 minutes from the airport in a quiet, residential area. It was perfect hotel for a layover in Dhaka.
The hotel is close to the airport, you can just walk there. Even though it's a small hotel, it's doing well. Their transportation service is affordable, and they got me the car on time both times. All the staff were friendly. I hope I get to stay there again.
In my opinion the best option in Dhaka for international travellers. Clean and nicely designed, spacious rooms. amazing staff, and half the price then the often badly aged traditional 5 star hotels in the city. Can fully recommend
A nice hotel. I really like such a good quality hotel at such a low cost for businessmen. Staff behavior is very good, everything started fresh. Just look at the cleanliness. Food quality is very good. Thanks
My in laws visited Bangladesh and I found this hotel close to Lab Aid diagnostic center which made easy for them to do the covid test before flight. Hotel was neat and clean and all the staffs are nice.
their services, cost in my renge,bt room is so good....i dnt think there are any othere hotels like this low cost renge bt high quiality rooms and services,And the whole team are so good.
The staff were friendly and the hotel was very close to the airport, the toilet reminded me of old dhaka, but not a bad thing as I went to wake my nostalgia
