We loved the Canal Boat trip most informative. The Historium was well worth a visit and very informative it was also very well done I would say a must to do.
The Architecture is amazing in the old Town and every little street was gorgeous with the Cookie Cutter Fairyland houses everywhere.
Was not dissapointed and people were friendly and when we got lost very helpful.
Would love to go back and explore some more and maybe take a trip to Damme from there.
We had a great Flemish Stew at a lovely Italian Restaurant near the Apartment. On our last night we went to Delaneys Hotel which was great and the food goregous. Lovely atmosphere and lovely staff.

There is so much to see, As a traveler from North America being in Europe it is even more overwhelming. Brugge seems to to have well preserved and updated the best of the past.
If I could have started again I would have made the bust tour first rather than last. This would have made it easier to get the most out of your visit. With the radial street layout it is difficult maintaining bearings and the bus tour would help with landmarking.

This is my favorite city in the world!
This is my favorite city in the world! Beautiful city center with a wide array of cafes, bars, and restaurants. Wonderful art and history museums. Climb the belfry; you'll be glad you did! Walking around town is very easy. There are many pet and family friendly hotels in or near the city center. Plenty of parking garages (always space at the train station if you don't mind walking back into town). Try Bones for great ribs. The Trappiste Bar for a huge beer selection. Delaney's Irish Pub for good pub food. De Haalve Maan brewery has great food and great beer! Schedule a walking tour to learn about the city and get off the beaten path!

Bruges has a charm all of its own.
Bruges has a charm all of its own. Stepping into the historic city centre felt like stepping into a fairytale from a bygone era. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the Blood Church, a stunning architectural masterpiece with a unique blend of Gothic and Baroque styles creating an atmosphere that is both solemn and breathtaking.
We explored the city by boat, gliding along the picturesque canals, we were treated to views of charming bridges, quaint cobblestone streets and centuries-old buildings. It was a perfect way to soak up the beauty of Bruges whilst learning about its fascinating past from a very knowledgeable guide who clearly had a passion for brewing!
The Salvador Dali Museum offered a captivating journey into the surreal world of one of the greatest artists of the 20th century. The collection of Dali's works showcased his genius and eccentricity, leaving me in awe of his surrealistic vision and untethered imagination.
Climbing the main church tower with its majestic bells was one of the highlights of our visit - (save up some energy for the climb). The panoramic views from the top were simply breathtaking, providing a bird's-eye perspective of Bruges and its surrounding countryside. It was a moment of serenity and peaceful reflection.
Bruges, a city of timeless beauty, rich cultural heritage and warm hospitality makes it a must see destination.

One of the most beautiful cities in Europe, but can get...
One of the most beautiful cities in Europe, but can get swamped by tourists during the day. For the best experience, get up early, or stay into the evening, when the hoards from the cruise ships and coach tours leave. Lots of bars and restaurants for most tastes, but like every tourist hotspot, the closer to the main square, the pricier and busier it gets. So do some research first, and check out other choices around the city.
Very warm welcome, excellent B&B, short 5 minute walking distance from both parking garage (with electric car charger, which is always a challenge in Belgium!) and city centre. Best breakfast ever and great stories on some of the vintage finds om display. Room with luxere, big bath was very clean, coffee machine in the room, mini fridge with cold drinks in the hall. Can’t think of anything that would have improved the stay. They even have a happy little dog that greets you every morning as you come down 😊
The room was a good size and well furnished. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful giving us excellent advice on what to do in Bruges. The location of the hotel is excellent as it is very easy to walk to all attractions. Although there is no where to park a car at the hotel, we were directed by the receptionist to the parking lot at the station which was secure, under cover, only a ten minute walk to the hotel and - best of all - extraordinarily cheap for the three days the car was parked there.
This is a cute, cozy little hotel in the center of Bruges.
Its owner knows everything about the city and life in general! Listen to her stories full of love and understanding.
She prepared an omelette for tomorrow. I have never eaten more deliciously in my life. And she treated us to homemade jam.
This place is furnished and decorated with great taste.
I recommend everyone who wants to feel Bruges to stay at this hotel.
The hotel itself was nice and the beds were comfortable enough, but what really made the stay was the awesome shower water pressure and the excellent cleaning staff who kept our room looking and smelling great. Really an awesome experience, especially for the price. Also, the hotel was directly behind the Bruges Belfry which made for a very cool and unique experience walking to and from the city center, directly through the belfry.
We stayed at the Monsieur Maurice one night on our way to France. The hotel is off the beaten tourist track in a very quiet area, but still very close to the city centre.
We weren't able to book a parking for our car, but there were plenty of car parks in the vicinity, so that was not a problem.
The owner was very friendly and our family room was nice and had everything we needed. Breakfast was also great.
Perfect location in the heart of Bruges.
The lovely receptionist recommended (and booked) a Flemish restaurant around the corner for us (Diligence) which turned out to be the best meal we’ve ever had in Belgium!
We enjoyed a drink at the hotel bar when returned from a post-dinner stroll around Bruges - pure bliss.
Our room was very clean and fresh feeling. We had a wonderful night’s sleep.
This hotel is right on the canal, and literally apart of “one of the most picturesque views in Belgium” (as per our tour guide). Our room looked like it had been recently updated apart from the bathroom. It was clean and the best part was that it looked right onto the canal! The staff here are very friendly and professional.
The location was perfect, right in front of the cute canal. It's very calm and quiet area but it only takes a few minutes on foot to the city centre. We only used it once though, free bike rental is available at the hotel which we really appreciated. We definitely recommend dinner at Tom's diner !
Location was perfect, staff was very friendly, and our room could not have been nicer. It was the best sleep we had during our entire 10 day vacation. We’ve already recommended Hotel De Castillion to friends that are visiting Bruges. What an amazing experience!
This hotel can be reached by car fairly easily and still it is very close (at walking distance) to all the main attractions of the city centre of Brugge. You can park your car at the hotel for 17 EURO per day which is one of the cheapest rates that I found.
The Rosenburg Hotel was a great choice for our stay in Bruges. The hotel room was very comfortable (huge) and cozy. Breakfast was great and the best part was the hotel friendly staff. Special mention to Ms. Anne at the reception desk, she was the best.
The staff was very kind! The private dining rooms were superb in times of corona and closed restaurants. Nice breakfast, excellent dining! Waking up next to the water, breakfast with a view on the canal, awesome! Walking distance from the city centre.
Location is in the heart of the city centre. Staff were caring and friendly. Everything was well-thought and useful in the room. It was exceptionally clean. Room decoration was elegant. I highly recommend this hotel for Bruges visitors.
Lovely hotel in the center of the medieval Bruges, room overlooking the garden. The room is large, with all amenities, including a refrigerator and air conditioning. Very clean inside, good location, beautiful garden, friendly staff.
This was a great location and the best boutique hotel I have stayed at so far. The location was great everything was walkable.
Breakfast was great every morning! Had a great time staying in Bruges. Totally recommend it.
Excellent rooms, spacious, very good parking space, huge beautiful garden behind, nice breakfast, helpful staff, beautiful location and near to city centre. Overall hotel is excellent.
Room was really comfortable, breakfast was amazing ! The hotel is really well located in Bruges, we were so close to everything without truly being in the center
