Great spot! Big, clean rooms with comfy beds and mosquito nets. Our host was lovely and he was able to arrange for an early morning airport transfer and a day tour to Ganvie. The complimentary breakfast is simple but appreciated - we paid extra for eggs, which were super tasty! The location is great, everyone who works here is lovely, and there's a really cute dog.

The Guesthouse Étoile is a comfy space to stay. Cedric, Messan and their colleagues are really easy to communicate with and will try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. They are also almost available via phone 24/7 which was comforting for a first-timer in Bénin. The shared rooms were pretty. I also appreciated that Cedric who is fluent in English organized a taxi for me after my arrival. Keep up the good work! À très bientôt :-)

Good location, staff was very friendly. They sended taxis to pick us up at the airport, this was well organized and even though our flight was late, they waited for us. We had to pay the taxis ourselves though. Be sure to ask for an invoice in advance! In the guesthouse, we received a written paper and an invoice after our trip via mail if you ask. The guesthouse was very clean, the food was good. We arrived with a group of 10 persons, they prepared us a meal late in the evening and breakfast in the morning.

For Benin and it being a guesthouse, it's very good. It has what you need, not more not less. The owner is very accommodating, English is limited but with English you should be fine, I would recommend learning a few key French words but you can easily get by. Breakfast is bread with butter and jam with a coffee and there is a little food stall across the street; just point at what you want and the amount of money-worth you want- 300 cfa will get you enough to feed 1 person. When taking a moto taxi to and from, just as for "ISM Adonai".

it’s a very nice guesthouse, especially for it’s price! The mattress was very comfortable, the is a very nice common space and garden where you can easily meet other people. I’ve had dinner and breakfast and the food was very good! I will come back for sure, and will stay longer. Cedric is a very nice host and he gave me very useful tips. see you soon!
