Visited Museo Los Portales and took cable car to Cristo de la Concordia ( a few inches taller than the one in Rio de Janeiro)

I like Cochabamba because of its climate.
I like Cochabamba because of its climate. It is in a valley and the weather is the best in Bolivia during the summer months on this side of the Equator, the temperature doesn’t get over 80 degrees most days, no need for air conditioning! Flowered trees everywhere. It is an ideal place to scape the winter of the North. Also, the food is diverse and very economical. The fruit and vegetables grow abundantly in this part of the country.

Our trip for vacations was very pleasant in Cochabamba, we were really coming from La Paz with inconveniences about the great height of that wonderful and beautiful city. And we found Cochabamba on a better scale for us, the weather and height were more pleasant. Interesting city with a great climate all-year-round.
Interesting city with a great climate all-year-round. However, I got caught in a bloqueo (roadblock) on the way into town. This is common in other parts of Bolivia but I heard it doesn't happen often in Cochabamba. It was a bit scary and added 8 more hours to what was already an 8-hour bus-trip from La Paz. I even got tear-gassed - pretty crazy! Travelers anywhere in Bolivia should be aware of this before planning their trip. In the end I found it to be an interesting quirk in my travels and an authentic experience seeing the people protest against corruption, but who knows? - it could've gotten out-of-control. Any travelers in Bolivia should make plenty of time for their trip, especially when traveling between cities. You should allow for an extra day or a few days so you don't miss flights and other plans. Basically, take it slow!

I am so sorry I didn’t catch your name but thank you! The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were warm but had new AC systems for summer months. The hotel was clean and in a very central place (right beside the beautiful Plaza 14 de Septiembre) which made it easy to move around and get food at any time of the day.
