Visited Museo Los Portales and took cable car to Cristo de la Concordia ( a few inches taller than the one in Rio de Janeiro)

I like Cochabamba because of its climate.
I like Cochabamba because of its climate. It is in a valley and the weather is the best in Bolivia during the summer months on this side of the Equator, the temperature doesn’t get over 80 degrees most days, no need for air conditioning! Flowered trees everywhere. It is an ideal place to scape the winter of the North. Also, the food is diverse and very economical. The fruit and vegetables grow abundantly in this part of the country.

It was a pleasant surprise - a city that exceeded my expectations! We ended up spending more time in this city than originally planned because we had something unexpected come up, and it was a pleasant surprise to get to spend more time in Cochabamba.

Our trip for vacations was very pleasant in Cochabamba, we were really coming from La Paz with inconveniences about the great height of that wonderful and beautiful city. And we found Cochabamba on a better scale for us, the weather and height were more pleasant. The people are very friendly and serve wonderfully well in museums and restaurants.
We really liked the vibe of the hostel, and the incredibly welcoming, friendly and interesting host José! He told us he loves living Cochabamba, and he loves running his hostel, and you can definitely tell :) He put a lot of effort into trying to find a good party for us in the town, and made sure we could store our stuff until our night bus. The hostel is a perfect place for backpackers, it's easy to cook and share food, and there's a very nice common area. The double bedroom was very cute and comfortable as well.
We stayed here one night after our trip in Torotoro national park. It is a wonderful and modern hotel, with a great lobby and an inviting common area. The breakfast is amazing, with lots of fruits, juices, a wide selection of baked goods, etc. The rooms are very modern and nicely furnished, the bathroom up to the standard. The rooms look over the lobby area, so there was no noise coming from the street. Very good value for price! We would recommend this property.
Absolutely beautiful home Re created as a small boutique hotel.
With an adorable pizzeria built alongside and in it
That was delicious and very romantic
Perfect for a small reunion or intimate conversation w friends
The staff and Margarita felt like family when one of our group took sick They were all so helpful and kind. Truly service is as yet a personal well accomplished gracious art form in la casa de la margarita.
Perfect place to stay in Cochabamba. It was our most luxury stay during our trip so far. The place is really clean and provides everything you need. (shelter, little cooking place). The bed was really comfortable. The shower is really big and with hot water. The area around is also really safe. The price is more than fair. The owner answers really quickly. We had a really great stay! Thanks!
The breakfast was fantastic.
Bed was very comfortable, with a nice big locker in the dorms.
Hot shower.
Very well equipped kitchen.
Nice common areas to meet fellow travellers.
Really well located, with heaps of restaurants around.
And beat of all the team was super friendly and happy to help and give tips on how to make the most out of our stay in Cochabamba.
I prefer smaller hotels and really liked this one. Not only was it very clean, but there were also fresh, fragrant lilies in the lobby and another hallway, which made it smell really nice. My room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had many choices, and eggs could be cooked to order.
Fantastic rooms (since new hotel and clean). Friendly staff (although have to use translator). Good location. Enjoyed my time being here (and I'm here again now!)
Wi-Fi is also setup and works really well (experienced 20mbps in my room with a router. I think most rooms will be at least 10mbps)
Great location, good communication before arrival to arrange early check in (cost 25Bs) and parking (free, underground and secure). The apartments are modern and include most amenities. Note there is no air conditioning or heating though. Flexible payment either in US dollars or bolivianos.
The room had plenty of space, a good bed, and the breakfast was very good and tasty. The hotel staff was very friendly, and always willing to think along. The cleaners did a good job too, cleaning the room when requested.
Perfect hotel, extremely friendly and helpful host. Perfect location, close to the bus station and tram line. Everything for the affordable price. Recommend to everyone who wants to visit Cochabamba.
Staff was very wonderful and attentive. Although an older hotel, it was very clean. Breakfast had a great selection of options daily. They also offer laundry service (per garment) if needed.
This was just a stop overnight on my way to Rurrenabaque. Was up very early, didn't have breakfast. I did get out for walk to get photos and Bolivian map from Geographic institute.
