This is one of the must sees natural landscapes in the world...
This is one of the must sees natural landscapes in the world. Hiking and waterfalls, with just enough human intervention. There are some private farms with access to hidden trails and waterfalls, you should ask locals how to get there. The main attractions are excellent, but can be crowded.

We traveled to Vale do Rio and to Cidade da Pedra.
We traveled to Vale do Rio and to Cidade da Pedra. We brought snacks and water. Our guide Rodrigo had a 4x4 hilux and brought snorkels for the river. It was a really nice trip. Rodrigo shared much about the Cerrado forest, the history of the park and the geology of the area. I recommend hiring him to guide you, especially as sections of the park are only accessible by guide. +55 61 9257 4363. He speaks English and Portuguese and has an easy going manner. I really appreciated that he made decisions for the trip based on the weather and he was correct in taking us to swim in the river when it was hot and up to the rocks at dust.

The staff were welcoming, and the room was nice, with a huge bed. Afternoon tea was lovely - we met the chef who is very competent and nice. The breakfast was nothing short of stunning, such an array of choice, it was astonishing! (I'll always be a fan of breakfast chocolate cake! Never gets old!) I enjoyed swimming in the sweet little pool too, and playing snooker in the amazing outside lounge.ColledgeUnited Kingdom

Many trails to walk around or just sit and watch the birds flying in. An unpaved road leads you directly to paradise.

It’s very near the central square and right next door is a little supermarket. The owners Iziel and Cili and very attentive and make sure you feel comfortable. They are both guides, we made two tours with Iziela and can recommend him. He is an excelente guide

Great place if you want to be in a quiet rural setting away from it all, and not if you want to take a stroll at night.
