Beaches are beautiful, city is pretty nice and has all kinds of services. Gastronomy is definitely not the best part of Rio das Ostras. I had two disappointments regarding restaurants. Expensive price for poor food and service. Don't expect to eat good food (that makes your money worth it) if you are going to Rio das Ostras. Expect the minimum and pay more than you should.MonikPortugal

It is a pity that the decor didn`t go to the rooms which are very very simple. The bedding and the towels also are not up to standard. We had a drink in the bar which was really nice. The service was first class.The breakfast is nice. On the whole I think it was more than worth it. I hope to go back there.

Puerta del Sol has a nice and cozy yard with a small but refreshing pool. The breakfast is OK and gives a good start of the day. It is located just a few meters of Rio das Ostras best beach.
